Ferah watches the discussion, keeping a sharp eye on the asteroid. Finally she lets out a deep huff. "If a god of Earth is present, they could make a safe cavern. I could drop some of the lifeforms into it. We can let the Asteroid hit, and then let them come back to see their newly found world." She's not totally sure if there's life. She hasn't been around long enough to check, but all this talk makes her think there is - to some extent, anyway. "oh my this is not a bad idea i have to admit "

All: "Then I shall reverse my earlier position, and allow the asteroid strike unhindered. I shall form a series of aquatic caves around each continent as well. An elegant solution, Ferah." mitobox : action: Cancel my asteroid diversion, and make aquatic cave systems around the continental waters.

"So, I believe the consensus is, Xello fragments the asteroid and the rest of us avoid it and focus our actions elsewhere. This means there is an impact. However, I due have an issue with just 'moving' life into caverns, you see our most prominent and successful life forms require the sun to live and if we move all of them underground our entire ecosystem will collapse and we'll go back an evolutionary step. Do as you wish though, as the hurtling asteroid will be fragmented and a cavern system based ecosystem and a light derived one may be interesting to study alongside each other." mitobox: I think we're all consensored with all the areas we're working on, Xello is splitting the asteroid, us nature gods are doing are own thangs and Atrox is currently pondering immortality on his private space rock.

"If I could recommend a course, it was Sunborne who was going to destroy the asteroid, perhaps he should fragment the asteroid instead. I was going to revive some of the life that was fading on the planet, though I could change that to encouraging life to live in the caverns." Note: I do not recall which character Atrox was, I think it was sunborne, sorry guys

Well then, we gods of winds and air, shall lay back in our cosmic rocking chair, and have a drink. To contemplate life lost, and life gained, by fates innevetable hand.
Or would it help we thinkended the atmosphere, were the Monolith of Fate, (eg the asteroid) will descend from the heavens, thus slowing it down, hindering it's charge uppon the unsuspecting planet and mayhaps splitting it up further, with airfrictions aid?

Ferah glances up at the question, tipping her canine head to the side a little. Shifting her sturdy, yet petite paws, she finally nodded.
"I could certainly try. I might need help, however. Perhaps it would take all of our Life God arsenol to breathe true, proper life. I've tried it before. They always turned out mindless. One of them turned out idiotic and ended up dying out after it was too stupid to eat. And then the other went mad and killed its own until they were all stones again. I would definitely need help."
She isn't afraid to admit her faults. She just hopes they don't think she's any lesser for it...!

Atrox : "Sunborne, would you be so kind as to allow this experiment on the lava world?" !Tilly! : "I trust that you are capable. Persistence is necessary to achieve all things. It is why I am a man of the Earth. Rocks are capable of great change even as they remain steadfast for millennia, by virtue of that in fact."

The Sunborne thinks this over... "Are you intending to bring life on my world?"

Atrox: "In a crude sort of way. I doubt that silicates have quite as much elegance as carbon based organisms, but after a fashion I would hope it resembles life enough."

Argaine's eye twitches a bit, and he glances around.
To all:"Once this asteroid has passed then, I shall raise up many stone golems on the basalt of Planet II."

Very well, an excellent idea, and interesting to see how such a thing shall happen, is there anything specific anyone needs help with during this, or should I focus on the cavern livers

"A while ago, some of life gods actually decided to reanimate a past generation of flagellates to counteract the autrophs ever rising population. I would say we keep this idea to safeguard flagellate survival. Also, Xello has already said he would fragment the asteroid. So I doubt we'd need to do it a second time, though some support may go welcomed." Note: XELLO is already fragmenting the asteroid, it was his first action straight after last 'round'.

lowry:" i agree Xeilo is a god of life and i'm affraid that life gods can not break stone can they not ?" sharpie and wayward : "oh dear, breathing life into stone ? that is truly extrordinary and somthing even, who has seen many things, has never seen somthing like this beeing preformed , i must admit that as a god of life i'm truly curious to see what may happen of this 'expirement' you have my assistance though i will first attempt to reanimate the Lost Little One's as Azamma suggested" all : "i must admit that Azamma is right in his concerns about our ecosystem i do not know if it is possible for i am only a god of life and my understanding of the other elements is lacking i must admit but would it be possible for a fire god to create something in the caverns in order to replace a sun ?"
