Azamma addresses the gods of wind. "If you could also blow clouds to the polls to cool then causing them to rain it would be appreciated. Less clouds, means less light is reflected by our atmosphere by water droplets. Therefore getting rid of some of those pesky clouds should aid our efforts." Turning to the water gods. "If you could aid that effort too by condensing the water droplets into larger globules, that would be helpful. Just some advice."

Hm Azamma, you are greated fervently by me. As a flower's bloom withers, all life must decay, form ash to... well you all know the drill. In the end Darkness greats us all, with its enveloping, cold, embace. For now your request shall be, my comand shall be.
Meph takes action: blow clouds to the polls to cool

"So, everyone, are we a destroying the asteroid entirely? Obliterating it and allowing fragments to hit? Avoiding it? Trapping it in our worlds orbit? What? Are we all using this asteroid as a show of our power." Note:Seriously? What is everyones overall decision? Are we all just opposing each other? (except for us smexy nature gods )

"oh dear, i am affraid you missunderstood this did you not ? the astriod will indeed destroy lifeforms however the species that survive will be the stronger species , these kind of 'mass-exticntions' are needed in order to create diversity and give other species a chance to rise that is the wonder of life is it not ?"

"If we do kill everything, we can always reanimate them, if any of their bodies or fossils survived. We may start a few generations back, but life will continue. There's very little risk here."

"oh dear i am affraid i can not explain this very well can i ? but i wil try do to it, essentially lifeforms dominant now are possibly holding future life back from thriving mas-extinction events like this on can give rise to much stronger and better fit species though i am not a big fan of mass-extinctions like myself i do understand that thy are nescary you see ? though i will do everything in order to prevent it doing to much damage as i rather keep this extinction as small as possible "

"well i very much apreciate how yu grown to care these lifeforms truly i am proud am i not ? however losses like these are inportant to life and it's further evolution , this ofcourse does not mean we should go on a killing rampage and have mass-extinction events every 10000 years or so does it not ? but as i already sad these kind of events are neccasery"

Not all life will perish, and the life that survives will most likely be stronger for it. Plus the way we are destroying this asteroid should help allow more types of life to thrive, especially if it helps release the greenhouse gases and crack the ice, which is at this point a much bigger threat. At least that is what I believe

Note:Has everyone voted? Or are we waiting on someone? Waiting for a consensus. Some votes might contradict each other. Otherwise, I'm assuming the consensus is to let the asteroid take its course.

Ferah watches the discussion, keeping a sharp eye on the asteroid. Finally she lets out a deep huff.
"If a god of Earth is present, they could make a safe cavern. I could drop some of the lifeforms into it. We can let the Asteroid hit, and then let them come back to see their newly found world."
She's not totally sure if there's life. She hasn't been around long enough to check, but all this talk makes her think there is - to some extent, anyway.
