Alright, new round, new challenges.
Vote 1: Try again at food preservation, it's good that we know that replanting this uneaten food helps the new harvests, but we should save at least some for when lean times hit us. Primary methods should be drying and/or smoking.
Vote 2: Develop construction using some sections of the tall grasses, sort of like grass tents/huts woven around a frame of sticks. We could even cultivate some grasses specifically for construction!

Hmm, half an hour, interesting. Better get around that area to see if I can intercept the good Professor. Action: Head towards the conference room, but keep an eye out for suspicious activity and an ear out for any mention of the Professor.

I will cause no trouble at the metal detectors so as not to be memorable, then head to an information kiosk to ask for a schedule of events and when they're going to happen.

You could rename yourself if you wish. The Kasrans see you as their allies and saviors, so they don't object to the tribe being called the Ushnuk Tribe. Ah, alright. If they don't object to Ushnuk as a name then they're welcome to call themselves such.
EDIT: In a way, the absorbing of refugees accelerated my plans some as it turns out, I planned for an official merger at some point in the future regardless, perhaps based around a merging of ruling families and such. So, I've got the Khorati to thank for that in a way, not so good for the Kasrans but I got a lot more people out of it who are very much thankful I took them in.

To be fair, you did run the Kasrans out of their lands. Or would you rather my people stayed and possibly raided your own? As Nick said, there's lots of bad blood there so it's probably for the best that our peoples separate for now. Your people are the rebels and traitors, if you are not willing to submit you should leave quickly, or we will be forced to end this rebellion once and for all. Leave and never return I know they are, but this may provide an opportunity for our peoples to meet peacefully in the future. If not, then we'll make sure to return when we can stand equal with the Khorati.
EDIT: Also, since I have assimilated some of (if not the remainder of) the Kasrans, would a different name be in order NickTheNick ?

anywhere has to be better than near someone who nearly destroyed us and our allies. Oh pfft To be fair, you did run the Kasrans out of their lands. Alright, all things considered, I'll cast my votes:
Vote: Migrate to the West/East (the round says east but you've said west, basically wherever that uncharted territory is), anywhere has to be better than near someone who nearly destroyed us and our allies.
Bonus Vote 1: Establish Ushnuk Skylosism, or Lokhism, which features many of the same tenets (with a more meritocratic bent), but shifts the pantheon into something more general rather than based around the lake. Also comes with the practice of public stoicism for those in a position of power (as flavoring if nothing else).
Bonus Vote 2: Develop a method of food preservation (didn't see it anywhere on my technologies), primarily drying.

Technically, you didn't actually help him win the achievement. He would've won the achievement even if he won the war, simply because Atrox just became a civ this turn and left Immortal as the last tribe. Also I didn't mention, but the land you are in right now is pretty cramped, since you have the Khorati immediately to your south and west, and the Navaprans and Aeneric League to the northwest and northeast. There is uncharted land to the west. This is part of the reason your people seek migration, to flee the hostile Khoratis, and to find ample space to settle the population, be it permanently or temporarily. Also, I will give you this piece of advice since it's your first turn: Your people will likely be very unhappy to have their leaders return them to the yoke of (or even into alliance with) a neighbour who just conquered their homeland, killed their members, and drove them out. Remember that the war was initially waged to gain independence from the Khoratis. To establish trade relations with the Khoratis will require a vote. Hmm, this is good to know, I'm definitely sleeping on this now. I'll give my final answer (and votes) when I can.

I do not think of fighting as a good option in this case either, and I rather like this place I'm at currently because I at least know about what I'm dealing with. I think I'll go for a sort of trade associate status with the Khorati as you put it. We will give you what goods we can produce in exchange for your own assistance. NickTheNick does this require a specific vote? I think I'll be going for the two extra votes as my achievement reward.
