Well, that's really strange. When did you last `apt-get update`? Since you're on Mint, maybe you should switch the package manager the script uses (which would probably necessitate changing the package names and possibly make things difficult with missing packages)? What should I switch it too?

Sorry for the lack of reply. I was waiting for someone else to answer but it seems they haven't. The programmers have heard similar problems elsewhere, and until our one Linux developer (Moopli) returns we can't do anything about it. Again, really sorry. When is he (or she) expected to return?

Redwatt50 , didn't you say that one tile is able to permanently support one cell? Anyway, you didn't say that there is no food there, its just running out, so I can remain there for some more time. Divide and scavenge. By that, I meant that a single cell would just be able to survive permanently. It wouldn't be able to use the same tile to reproduce forever.

It's official, I have the least amount of cells out of everyone. CE1 and CE3 scavenge. Edit: Also, is it possible to steal genes from others through HGT? There might be a gene that lets you steal genes from other cells in the future.

I downloaded the .tar.gz file for Thrive 0.3.1, extracted it, and tried to run SetupThrive.sh. When I did, this happened:

Nope. It got a 2 for its gene roll and traveled instead of scavenging. Ahhh I see I couldn't tell. so what is the Scavenge(5)<--- not sure about this part: 2(+2) FD part? I am bit confuzzled BL3 (25/25 HP, 5 ATK, 0(-1) FD, GNs: A( 2))(10-2) Scavenge( 5): 2(+2) FD Red is the gene roll. Blue is the roll for scavenge.
