Hmm, that is probably the best waaay to allocate resources, if it was but in a safe and secure area. Something away from the environment that could spoil it or potential natives who could rob us, we did wake up to a scream. Hmm, true, true. What other way is there though? We could have everyone keep what they brought, but that means someone could have something nasty up their sleeve and they might try to settle an old grudge or two while we all sleep.

Just one little problem with that statement there, just one, your precious emperor has no authority here.

I've got no personal injuries to report. My only suggestion is to make a central stockpile of our resources on the beach, so that nobody has any secrets to hide and so weapons can be distributed to those who might need them.

That remains to be seen imperial pig dog. We can easily just get some of your gold as ransom once we get out of here. Plus, you may have information on how the rest of your comrades found us.

Hmm, what to do what to do... I suggest we secure our captive and take stock of what supplies we have. We may need to stockpile and heavily ration things until we can get a good stock of the area around us and what it holds.

The Rautiza in the female Tyranite's grip does its level best to dig into the sides of its tunnel and hook its armor in. But the tunnel is sand and thus moves when pulled, especially when it itself is small and the predator is big. Scarface has more luck, as the reef holds more of the arthropods, and thus more often than not a hiding place holds a Rautiza.

I was really tired, and don't worry, this isn't all of the chapter! I'll post the rest of the Shade Woulf bit later. Also @immortal_Dragon: I tried doing the description of the beartrap moss better! Also, sorry about the random POV changes. It's all good man, much better. And random POV changes are alright, just have to go and make sure they're consistent when it comes time for editing.

The Arnacathrix smells the Toxic Calo approaching, it turns towards it and lets out a loud roar, spreading its arms wide apart as bioluminescence lights up along the edges of its chest plates and the roof of its mouth. They light up a bright blue as it continues to roar and the behemoth stomps its feet and lashes its armored tail around while slowly waving its arms up and down. The rest of the herd hears the commotion and starts to investigate.

Seems like you have a good start so far namoon. Only detail I can really say I have a nitpick about is the description of the Bear Trap Moss, it doesn't just shoot up spikes, it actually folds itself spontaneously in half much like a real life bear trap does. Also, may want to fix the first-person POV in one sentence, unless you want it all to be in first-person then you just have to change the rest around to fit it.
You've got a very solid start here, keep up the good work.

The female Tyranite's probing seems to have disturbed something, as sand starts to be shoveled out of a hole with some speed. A Rautiza is inside, and it hurries its attempts to burrow into the sand to try and get away from the predator. Meanwhile, the other arthropods do their best to hide in the rocky crevices they've managed to take for themselves away from Scarface.

New Species! Name: Arnacathrix
Description: An arboreal forager that usually stands 3.5 meters tall, the Arnacathrix can be best described as an armored bipedal reptile. It features two thick, muscular legs much like that of a theropod from Earth, though its feet feature two thick toes on the front and two similarly shaped toes on the back. Its body is wide and barrel-like, primarily around its stomach area, and a long tail that tapers into a thin (though not whip-like) tip at the end extends backwards for balance. Its torso carries armor plates on the front and back (where it's thicker), running along the back of the tail and armoring the legs just beyond the knees. This armor extends up a thick medium-length neck where its head rests. This head possesses a short and stubby muzzle, with a split lower jaw. This maw is filled with slightly curved prong-like teeth that it uses to rake along branches to tear down leaves and fruits to eat. A tongue edged with teeth-like ridges helps with this, highly flexible and even slightly prehensile to catch torn off fruit. Two pairs of completely black eyes sit above this maw on the sides of the head, and a somewhat mediocre sense of smell is given by a pair of small slit-like nostrils above the center of its maw. It possesses two muscular arms that are completely armored up, but any sort of hands have long since fused into long singular digits much like the ends of the arms of a praying mantis, with small blunt spikes that are used to rake at branches and other forms of plant life to get food. They usually live in herds of a couple dozen individuals.
Three large pods that have landed in the jungles open up, disgorging a few herds' worth of Arnacathrix. They walk about, slightly dazed from their long journey. However, the scent of food soon draws them to gather together and venture out in search of sustenance.

Seeing as the Noofuzz is just moss, it is unable to complain nor is it able to resist being used as a condiment by the Batis.

The Bear Trap infesting the Scavenger is now firmly rooted, though with stunted growth due to extended soaking in water, it is unclear just how this may turn out for either side of the relationship. The moss-creature isn't taking nearly as many nutrients from its host now, but it will still take some time to grow into whatever the result will be.

The entire Rautiza colony on this stretch of coast has now gotten into cover, leaving the two Tyranites to either dig for them in the sand and rock or the reefs, or try to fight it out themselves. The two injured ones are easily caught, taken down like nothing by the large predators They tilt their heads down repeatedly, allowing their eyes to see out of their shelters. They stay still, not having any other senses of note to help them know when a predator has gone away, while a select few others ram their heads into the backs of their shelters to try and burrow deeper. They are unconcerned with any who might be trying to get at the algae, including the approaching Waywardians.
The Bear Trap spores remain latched where they are, though the ones on the Scavenger's chest seems to be loosening their grip with the motion of his flight. The spores on the top of his beak and on the knot on his tail remain firmly attached, however.

The Rautiza, having attempted to get past the second Tyranite, is nevertheless hit by the lunge as a tentacle strikes it on the body. Its armor is just about too rigid to bend well with the hit as it flexes beyond its normal range of motion and the armor cracks open. Blood enters the water once more as the wounded creature tries to limp to cover. Meanwhile, the blur was another Rautiza attempting to get to cover, only to be caught and have its tail-plates torn off, robbing it of one of its sources of movement. It comes to a near-stop as it tries to undulate to move, but without its tail-plates this is slow going indeed.

More and more Rautiza begin to take cover, the familiar concept of "predator, flee" entering their simple minds once more. However, one caught between the other Tyranite and cover makes a daring move. It swims towards the predator and attempts to ram any sort of soft spot it can find, though due to its own limited eyesight, it's not likely to be successful in its attempt to do so.

The Rautiza tries its hardest to get away, but with a missing tail-plate and bleeding out, the small arthropod is unable to get away as the Tyranite's tentacle encircles its tail and traps it. It tries its hardest to get away, thrashing in the predator's grip.

The Rautiza targeted just manages to see the danger in time, and tries to dart away. However the Tyranite tentacle manages to brush its tail and knocks off one of the four tail-plates, causing the Rautiza to start bleeding and thrash in an attempt to further escape. Other Rautiza start to catch on to the danger and head for cover.

Some of the Rautiza manage to catch a glimpse of the Tyranite on the edge of their vision as little more than a large dark-colored blob. They immediately dart for cover in the reef and coastal alcoves that can hold them. However, not all have gotten this lucky, and move to take in the food that was left untaken.
The Purpleweed seeds find themselves having to compete, on the ground at least, with the other Noofuzz and Bear Trap spores that were released earlier, and in greater numbers. However, since they have two entirely different niches in the food chain, this competition is likely to be minor and relatively rare considering their chosen environments and prey. Such clashes as happened earlier are unlikely to happen with any frequency. The Noofuzz, however, should provide an interesting treat when combined with the pods for the Batis.

The Noofuzz continue using the unopened Purpleweed pods as a way to get at what nutrients remain in it and the tree. Once firmly rooted, the first moss blooms will form and begin photosynthesizing within a week.
The other Rautiza continue to feed on algae and plankton around the reefs, completely unaware of the danger of the Tyranite. They themselves are mostly solitary, but violent conflict rarely breaks out amongst them in such food-rich conditions.
