Whoa, this was a long time ago. How's that python script coming? I'm interested. I'd say it's about 50% complete. I haven't been working on it because I got lazy, and I didn't want to waste my time finishing it if everyone lost interest in this game.

I found this evolution simulation game that costs $1 on Steam called Gridworld. In it there are creatures on a 2D grid (hence the name) controlled by neural networks. They can move around, eat, reproduce, and do more complex things like emit pheromones or toxins. With the default settings, randomly generated creatures will appear in the world until one creature is able to effectively eat and reproduce. Then it will become dominant and evolve through random mutations. Here is the link to the Steam page: store.steampowered.com/app/396890/. I saw those too. I didn't listen to much of them, but I probably would listen to new ones that come out. Especially if they are like a livestream where users could ask questions and have them answered live.

Cell War is not dead. I'm just making a Python script to help me update it faster. I haven't made much progress yet because I was doing other things. I'll post the next turn when the script is able to update the amount of food in each tile, which will hopefully be soon, and possibly even tonight.

Thanks to TheCreator 's massive legacy release dump, we do actually have timestamps for all the previous releases. They probably skew it considerably. I'm also basing this off the .exe in each case, which I'm assuming represents the date the release was compiled. DD/MM/YY 0.0.1 - 29/01/13 0.0.2 - 30/01/13 0.0.3 - 31/01/13 0.0.4 - 11/02/13 0.0.5 - 19/03/13 0.1.0 - 15/05/13 0.1.1 - 25/05/13 0.1.2 - 25/05/13 0.2.1 - 26/12/13 I updated the OP with that information. Were you along around enough to know if 0.0.1, 2 and 3 were released on consecutive days and if 0.1.1 was released on the same day as 0.1.2? And also, does the legacy release dump contain the changelogs for all of the versions? EDIT: After watching your gameplay of every release video, I can see why they came out so fast.
