Thing on its back. What is it? A vacuole maybe? Would make sense in this context since plants have larger vacuoles then animals. I know it isn't a cell but rather a entire animal, but always possible.

oh my god i forgot this thing existed... allOW ME TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS POST HASTE DEARIE ME
Atrox, I imagined it would be an extra surface to suck up sunlight from. Since, in my head, its main habitat would be a rainforest; it would need all the sun it could possibly get! Maybe when it sleeps it finds a patch of sun and flattens out.
Aquos: 1) It eats little earthworm-like creatures and insects in general. You can't see its mouth, but it kinda looks like one of those cute remora buddies' mouths. Kinda triangle snoot. It produces energy sort of like how a plant does, and also a bit of like an animal - I don't really want to use the proper terminology because I will butcher it for sure :'/ but i hope what I'm saying makes sense oh goshness. 2) Like I said above, I imagine it would live in a rainforesty area. If it was pressed it could probably live in a hotter woodland as well, though not as well. 3) I imagine it would be somewhere between a finch and a raven? They play and goof around and are overwhelmingly social (seriously, if you find one there's probably like 954394384957857 more), but they're not QUITE self-aware. 4) I honestly don't know what their name would be. I was thinking Grassmice or Flowermice. 5) It's sense of sight is pretty dang great, as well as its ability to decide whether a space is light or dark. Their sense of touch is on par with a person's, and their sense of smell is like 1%. They can really only smell each others pheremones, and that's about it. 6) They probably live around 9 or 10 years? Maybe? 7) They are, but it takes a very active lifestyle. You'd have to walk them like a million times a day so they get sun, have big windows for extra sun, a spot for them to feel safe and sleep, and you also have to have at least like 5 or 10 of them. If you can do all that, they make pretty dang good pets. 8) I imagine the females would flower during a particular mating season, and their mating would just be rubbing together. Since they are in huge groups, daily life = mating, basically. Females would hold the offspring in their chests (see the little slit on the drawing), and they would pop out when they were old enough to escape. 9) Im'na answer the tail one in Redwatt's answer
Redwatt50, those little tails are kind of like roots! Usually they're used for communication, but in times of EXTREME need they can stick them into the ground and suck up nutrients like a little plant. It doesn't help much though, and really it's only a lifeline. As little babies the tails are twice as long and they are much more efficient at gathering foodstuffs, because the babies are really really tiny and can't do much in the way of "hunting."
sorry for the late response! I hope this is satisfactory ;w;

Sharpie You Are AMAZIN
Seriously. You could write a whole documentary about a fictional being and 11/10 would buy it.
Seriously.
