Cell War is a grid-based domination game I came up with yesterday. Here's how you play:
Each player starts with a cell. That cell has the following stats: 30/30 HP (Health Points), 10 ATK (Attack), and 2 FD (Food). Each turn, a cell will lose 1 FD, and when it's FD reaches 0 it will die. Needless to say, a cell will also die when it's HP reaches 0.
There are four actions that a cell can preform each turn: Scavenge - Roll a die and gain FD based on the roll. 1 gains 0 FD, 2 gains 1, 3-5 gains 2, and 6 gains 3. Can not be preformed on the same turn with another action. Travel - Move to a grid tile adjacent or diagonal to the current one. Can only be preformed once per turn. Fight - Attack an enemy cell in the same tile as you. Success is based on a roll. 1 deals 50% of your ATK to the target and 75% of target's ATK is dealt to you, 2 deals 75% and 75%, 3-5 deals 100% and 75%, and 6 deals 125% and 75%. Can only be preformed once per turn. Reproduce - Can only preformed if your FD is 5 or above. Lose 2 FD and gain a copy of the cell next turn in the same tile with it's stats modified by 2 rolls. For the 1st roll, 1 gives -5 ATK, 2 gives -2, 3 and 4 have no effect, 5 gives +2, and 6 gives +5. The second roll is the same, but it modifies HP instead of ATK. If the dice are doubles, the cell will gain an effect. Double 1s give a negative effect, 2s give a slightly negative effect, 3s and 4s give an effect that is both good and bad, 5s give a slightly good effect, and 6s give a good effect. Can not be preformed on the same turn with another action.
Grid tiles will be refered as X-Y. X is the row and Y is the column. For example: the 3rd row and the 2nd column is 3-2. There can only be up to 4 cells in a grid tile, so a cell can not travel to or reproduce in a tile that already has 4 cells in it. When a cell fights another cell and kills it, that cell will gain the dead cell's FD. HP will regenerate by 20% at the start of each turn if there is no enemy cells in the same tile as it.

I just realized that it would be possible for 4 cells controlled by the same player to camp in a grid tile indefinitely without anyone else being able to attack them. To fix this, each tile now has a limited amount of food, which only replenishes fast enough to permanently support a single cell. GabrielGG I was planning on that. I might not make it in time for the first turn though.

Make sure to put it in {code} brackets, since it looks weird otherwise. What do you mean by that? I'm not going to post anyone's turns until all the slots are filled if that's what you were asking. (Unless a few days pass before anyone decides to join.) And thanks for creating that map, but I was planning on making a color coded one in Pinta. Speaking of that, what color do you guys want your cells to be? Hey i Might Join Can I reserved a spot, if so -Reserved- Okay, but you'll probably have enough time to make up your mind before the game is full.

Okay, guess I will be using Narotiza's text-based grid after all. I didn't realize how long it would take to update the map each turn since I'm not very good at using image editing software yet. I might start using an image when I'm farther into my digital graphics class.
