Hi there is a bug with the chloroplast and the "atp generator" Creating an infinite Loop atp generator: 6 oxygen + 1 glucose = 6 co2 and chloroplast: 6 co2 = 6 oxygen + 1 glucose = INFINITE LOOP!!!

ATP generator is Mitochondria. I think what needs to happen is ATP being used and turning into ADP, so this doesn't happen.

I mean, is that not how it's supposed to be? We already know that plants don't need to eat other organisms for energy, they can generate their own. Also, it's not technically an infinite loop since you need sunlight as an input, and all of the processes take quite a bit of time.

Man I really wish I had some chorloplasts in me. If you eat plants , you do have a few chloroplasts ... for a short time at least

Wait what?!!?? So if I eat plant all day long, then go bath in the sun I'll become invincible?

In reference to ADP, I rationalize by imagining the cell has a finite but arbitrarily large supply of ADP to phosphorylate. This is more-or-less the case in biology, where in the cases I've seen the limiting actor in plants is available light.

I feel like the limiting factor would be water, because a lot of plants (like C4 for example) have special mechanisms to prevent to much energy from entering the plant. But then again, that's mostly caused by indifference of the Rubisco enzyme and it's inability to tell apart between o2 and co2. (Or I could just be completely wrong😀)

DISCLAIMER: The_Wayward_Admiral is not a botanist or botany student and is probably misremembering cell biology lecture, but still maintains that the basic principle is the same. I.e, ADP is still unlikely to be the limiting factor in photosynthetic organisms. Any relation or similarity to persons living or dead is entirely coincidental.

Another thing to add, most cells usually maintain a constant supply/concentration of ATP.
