The Blunderplod that was attacked feels the venom-laden fangs sink into its hide. It loudly grunts in pain, flailing it's short limbs. The other Blunderplod sees the commotion and scampers away.
Elsewhere, Leaf Cloud is looking at the sapling. He wonders what sort of care it needs. He looks over at the mother Scurrimp nursing the infant. He then looks over at a bowl of dry wood chips. Maybe plants like water too? He pours a trickle of rainwater onto it.
In the distant desert, the nomad Splinterbugs catch the scent of rival Splinterbug pheromones. The colony stops, with half the workers being sent out to follow the trails. Confrontation is inevitable.

How does a creature evolve?
The flailing, squealing Blunderplod was annoying the naga to the extreme. So, knowing the venom was already taking effect, the Naga tried to pick up the Blunderplod and throw it into the nearby Gula camp (to try and compensate for the smearings)

Someone playing as a pig could have it grow wings. Evolution here's not inherently a goal, just a tool for players to change their creatures. The first Blunderplod continues to struggle as the Naga lifts it with its claws. The second one has reached the Anen Tabyri shrubbery and makes its way into the leaves.

So an evolution could be something like Giggle grass causing madness instead of giggling?
Struggling, flailing and being a general nuisance, the naga lost his grip on the envenomed Blunderplod. In an effort to retain the dull-witted beast, he went for a desperate "grab 'n throw". Things aren't going so well for my scaly friend

In an effort to retain the dull-witted beast, he went for a desperate "grab 'n throw". Things aren't going so well for my scaly friend Well, if you feel like it. This is a game, after all. Think of it like an Aware Stage multiplayer. The first Blunderplod is sent hurtling toward the cave. It hits the ground and rolls a little, rather bruised, but otherwise alright... Except for the venom. It's already feeling weak. The second is scampering further into the shrubbery. Not too far away from the fight, there is a very special Blunderplod. His fur is darker than others of his kind, and his black bat wings on his back unfold for takeoff. His name is Nightforge and he's the edgiest Blunderplod ever... Which isn't saying much. He takes wing, soaring toward the Naga's location, ready to bring justice. (I can't sleep, and my mind cooked up this weirdness, so I'm rolling with it.) In the grassland, the Borderier hatchlings are finally getting close to the adults. Some of the adults see the moving grass, a sign that hatchlings are coming, and slow down so they can catch up.

New creature
Name: Quenwa
Diet: carnivore
Description: large, scaly, bipedal, reptile. Like a t-rex but slightly larger and more lithe with with actual arms. Large jaws that unhinge like a snake (is there a technical term for this?). Within the mouth are several spring-loaded tongue spears, which normally ensure imminent death. Solitary predators that mate for life and care for their children like mumma crocodiles. Claws hold down prey while the bite ensures a quick death. Not sapient. Don't let it's size fool you, it is as slow as it looks. strength, and speed is exceptional. Eyesight is ok, not good, but ok. Impatient and Aggressive tendencies amongst males do lead to deaths and failed ambushes. Females have camo plumage while males have controllable spines. Overdeveloped lungs and vocal chords in males leads to super loud roars(does this work?)
A titanic roar bellows from somewhere close to the Borderiers. everything is silent. Suddenly, a large, golden-brown creature with rows and rows of sharp teeth, starts speeding straight for the Borderiers.
The Naga grumbles, annoyed with the events that just transpired. His serpentine form sinks to the ground and he slithers off to go hide close by. At least some smearings were left relatively untouched. Although they dripped with drool and were largely different to the original doom readings.

The Bounderiers are momentarily startled. Forgetting the hatchlings, they stampede ahead. The hatchlings themselves crouch and hide in the tall grass.
Meanwhile, Nightforge lands where the Naga was. He folds his wings and looks around. Where is it?

Name: Desert Dartshooter
Description: A bigger cousin of the Dartshooter. As the name suggest, it lives in the desert. It is as big as a foal, has long legs and is a bit faster and more social than its rainforest cousin. It also has an articulated abdomen than ends into a shootable dart. But unlike its cousin, its eyes are not pedunculated.
A Desert Darthooter is wandering looking for a prey.
Note: therart are you into kaijus? Because your creatures made me think of that.

Note: I'm rather into kaiju. What are your thoughts on Bagan?
The Splinterbug worker scouts find the location of the rival hive. However, enemy workers scouting for supplemental food sources have discovered the nomad hive in turn. While they head back to warn their hive, the scouts return and tell the hive's location. Almost all of the soldiers, and about half of the workers, get ready to fight. The defenders' workers start to fortify their tunnels and weakspots with blobs of digested sand.

Note: Godzilla and King Ghidorah are me favorites Bagan is demonlord of all demon lords RAWR!Coiled up In a shadowy shrub, The Naga felt the vibrations of something.... landing? Whatever it was, the Naga disliked the new presence. Not only because he was tired of interruptions, but also because the struggle with the Blunderplod left him slightly fatigued. Regardless, he wanted a more cautious approach this time and decided to wait in hiding. Closer to the Bounderier herd, the Quenwa was speeding up. Letting loose a second roar, it hoped to panic the herd for easier pickings. Or bloodlust. Either way, the Quenwa was hungry for blood.

The Desert Dartshooter continued to roam among the dunes when he saw something in the distance. It hide behind a nearby rock to observe it without being seen. His eyesight wasn't very good, but he was able to roughly guess the shapes. It appeared that it was a Fudd. He keep observing it.

Nightforge sniffs the air. However, given that he's a Blunderplod with wings, his attention is diverted toward the nearby Ajen Tabyri plants. He plods over and browses.
The Bounderier herd is still in panic mode. The Quenwa is too fast for the alien sauropods to turn around and intimidate. some are in the back, some are in the front, but they are all running.
The attacking nomad Splinterbugs now separate from the colony to conquer a new home. The defenders' workers are not finished blocking the tunnels, but most of their soldiers are already teeming around the dead Spinestalk they call home.

Vibrations felt by the Naga, reveal the strange creature moved closer to this hiding place. He could taste his scent now, Albeit slightly. The Naga couldn't see the intruder yet and resolved to stay put.
Blood must flow, and soon it will. Speed puts the Quenwa right behind a dawdling Bounderier. Agressively, it snaps at the air, missing by a metre.

Nightforge stops eating berries to look at the ruined smearings. What happened here? He looks at the pile of vomit. Oh. My friends were here. And someone else, but mostly them. He shakes his head and briefly flies atop the cave, hoping to get a better view of the beach landscape.
Elsewhere, the Boundarier (crazy how I can't remember how it's spelt) lagging behind, in a panic, thrashes its tail from side to side. By now, every Boundarier is on all fours trying to escape the Quenwa.

Still and quite, the Naga heard the intrusive creature move. Something akin to flapping alerted the Naga. If the creature was in the air, surely he would be seen in this ill excuse for a hiding spot. So, When movement ceased, the Naga rose up to his full height and spread his wings in a menacing manner. He called out with a sound similar to a squealing Blunderplod.
Behind the panicked herd, a slow Boundarier desperately tried to ward off it's predator (is it a stubby tail or what?). The Quenwa barely noticed. Reaching out towards it's prey, in a risky move, it tried to grab the creature by the tail.
Note: a floating air sac creature works right? Similar to Drifblim from pokémon.

Note: Flying gasbags are fine.
Nightforge heard the sound and sees the Naga standing (?) amongst the shrubbery. He spreads his own wings in turn.
Boundarier tails are a bit like whips, an adaptation seen in Diplodocus. However, the stampeding Boundarier is unable to use its tail properly, and the Quanwa gets a grip on the slender tip.

New thingjig. In contradiction to the Naga Auri way of evil and spite, a peaceful race of giants. Note: what happened to the Blunderplod that was thrown? Or are you waiting for something else? Name: Gigaopod (tell me if to long) Diet: herbivore Sapient: Yes Description: a large ball shaped flight bladder, with spikes, vents and 8-12 hanging grasper tentacles. using their gas bladders, they can float high above the ground in beautiful "bubbles". (technical name for a group)Generates electricity as a defence, then uses the spikes to amplify And contain the energy. Groups graze together, with assigned watchers protecting the group. Eyes are placed around body give 360 vision, and can see in multiple spectrums. Have a form of friendship, with everyone in a group caring for each other simultaneously. Tentacles are nimble and dextrous, being able to manipulate tools and items in flexible ways. Peaceful and mild-tempered, they care for life and are generally pacifists. However, kill one of their friends, and you won't live to see the next day. Nomadic in nature, they tend to migrate from place to place. They move by venting their gas bladders to gain momentum, but can also deflate entirely and walk with their tentacles. Language consists largely of tentacle manipulation, weaving difficult hand signs that are hard to emulate without tentacles. Consuming food is not a problem, they spit acidic webbing that makes mucous mush, then push it into their mouths. Which are little more than holes with hard material to mush the food even further. A white bubble of 8 Gigaopods were gently floating over the desert. 3 children, (2 female 1 male) a patriarch, 2 adult females and two adult males. They were moving towards the mountains in a peaceful manner. Conversing about the trip and just anything they fancied at the moment In a less peaceful environment, the Quenwa managed to grab the Boundarier's tail. In response, it veered right, trying to pull the creature towards it. (I have no idea what is happening here ) The taunt recieved, the Naga could see the intruder for what it truly was. It's one of THOSE! I hate THOSE!. He twitched slightly, but that was all. The winged Blunderplod opened it's wings, trying to look threatening. And now it's mocking me! The Naga showed his fangs in one last show of strength, before taking to the air. it has wings, let's see how it uses them.

The Desert Dartshooter hasn't eaten for several days so he decides to sneak attack the Fudd. He came out of his hiding, approached slowly a few meters, immobilizes himself to aim his abdomen at his future meal, then soot the dart.
New species!
Name: Giant Beakgorilla
Description: A larger cousin of the Ramfopitheque. Its skin is dark grey except on the face which is white with a black sharp beak, its fur is green-yellow and its eyes are yellow-orange. It walks in the manner of a gorilla and due to its weight, it cannot climb trees. It is strong and can be very violent if disturbed or threatened. They can be particularly violent during mating season, males fighting can cause lots of damage to the environment. Females are approximately as big as the males. It is omnivorous, mainly eating fruits and leaves, and with its sharp beak can easily eat meat.
It is mating season for the Giant Beakgorillas. On the floor of the rainforest, a male was looking for a mate. He made a mating call, waiting for an answer. After 5 seconds, he heard one coming from his left. He then took the direction of the call. After a few moments, he finally reach the female. Unfortunatelly, the call has attracted another male. Frustrated, the first male tried to intimidate the other by hitting his own chest and making a menacing roar. The second replicated by hitting the groud, also roaring while the female watches the two. It seems the only way to settle this is a fight. The first male then rushed to the other and they grabbed each other sumo-style, pushing and bitting each other with their sharp beak, crushing small plants in passing. The first eventually manages to punch the other's face, who respond with another punch.

The Fudd yells out a cry of surprise. Behind a dune, a group of five Fudd hear his cries and rush out, wielding simple wooden staffs, to see their fellow becoming drowsy. They spot the Desert Dartshooter and rush forward staffs pointing menacingly at the Desert Dartshooter.

They spot the Desert Dartshooter and rush forward staffs pointing menacingly at the Desert Dartshooter. Seeing the group rushing at him, despite being outnumbered the Desert Dartshooter stands his ground. He raises his two front legs while cackling in a menacing way. However, there was another one nearby who was attracted by the noise. He then saw his congener and the group of Fudds rushing at him. He then stepped forward to potentially stop the sapients. As usual, he immobilizes itself, aim his abdomen at the head of the group and shot the dart.
Meanwhile on the rainforest, after rampaging the undergrowth, the second Beakgorilla finally gave up, exhausted and wounded, and walked away. The first male, satisfied, hit his chest to show his superior strenght. He then joins the female, who was now ready to mate.
