There is something I don't really understand: on the Arbitrary Mechanics page, it says under the Art section that legends give a bonus of stability, why is that?

There is something I don't really understand: on the Arbitrary Mechanics page, it says under the Art section that legends give a bonus of stability, why is that? I assume that legends create a feeling of kinsmanship and cultural sophistication. This increases the status of "us," since legends tend to be something everyone in a group knows. Internet memes have a similar effect, when they don't make people mad. |
