So, came across some studies on different types of color blindness and how certain games have failed to notice this. Some studies have found that 1 in 12 men have a color vision deficiency, (CVD) and 1 in 200 for women. LinkWith about 1 in 100 people being "Green-Blind" LinkWhile not all CVD's are just "black and white", but rather they lack certain colors, or vision cones, making different colors blend and mix together. Here are a few pictures to demonstrate what it might look like to have a CVD. . As you can see what people might see as many different colors might be a problem when it comes to people with a CVD. I think this is something to be slightly aware of when making the game and considering what colors to represent what items, such as compound clouds in the current microbe stage. There are alternatives, such as using colors that trigger the lowest amount of CVD's, or having shape or text to display as well, even a option in the menu to change it for people with such disabilities might be an option down the road. Let me know what you think, or even if this is something to think about.

I think it would be better to have an option that lables things like compound clouds and such with a letter (oxygen for an example would be labeled OX). That way people we don't trigger any CVD's. It should defenitly be a menu option though, so people can choose what they like. This would also make it easier for new players to see wich color is linked to wich compound.

oxygen for an example would be labeled OX I think oxygen should just be O, because the periodic table. Of course, for sugar we have C 6H 12O 6, but people will soon learn about the molecule's chemistry if they haven't already.
