Would it be possible to see the organisms you made in free-edit mode during your play sessions, like in Spore where the computer randomly pick one of your creations and puts it in the environment? (Well at least creatures and plants that fits the climate and all that stuff...)

I wouldn't have thought so as in Thrive everything along side your organism would've evolved using Auto-Evo. They wouldn't just appear in different slots, like in Spore, they would have to have evolved. So, no it wouldn't happen. Unless, of course, you have achieved Ascension, in which case, you might be able to place them, I'm not sure.
