as big as Gravity and the ecosystem (and your computer) allows i think Oh, and their reproductive and temperature regulation techniques. If you're endothermic (warm-blooded), you won't have to worry about the constraints that ectotherms (cold-bloods) face. Furthermore, if you lay eggs instead of give live birth, you can perpetuate your species without relying on one oversized baby you have to haul around for months. Sauropod (long-neck) dinosaurs were both endothermic and oviparous (egg-laying), allowing them to become truly massive.

In short, you can make it as big as your creature can cope with. You can't just enter a terrestrial stage with the largest amount of spines the game can give you like some other games if that's what you're thinking.

I always found it frustrating when I couldn't make an epic, but they were allowed to wreck my hard work. In reference to the question about small, your cell can can be as small as just a nucleus and ER, which could probably survive for a bit and is as small as is possible in game.

UUGH epics am i right? so after multicell stage i can become a tiny fly and roam around a then after hundreds of years become the ruler of the world as a tiny little fly? If so i'm doing that.

magichris that seems like a pretty fly strategy. #puns In all seriousness, that is entirely possible (I think).
