If there are going to be a lot of choices I would like a nice simple way of tranferring settings from one person to another. So say I spend like 30 minutes carefully choosing all my options to make a crazy and difficult and interesting start position it would be great if I could have something to send someone else so they could play the same setup. Maybe like a hash key like buowqf9j39nhf8h02 or maybe a small file (key would be much easier).
Then it would make it easy to have like "world of the week" where we post a world on the forum and everyone plays it and reports how they get on with it.
It would also make it easier for bug testing so we can replay the exact same settings as someone who encountered an in game mechanical problem.

Could there be options to choose the composition of the atmosphere and the percentage of each element, as well as gravity, rotational period and the type of minerals/metals/materials you could find in the ground or is it too complex?

Notable omissions: Organism/Strategy/Observer mode. Auto-Evo/Manual edits. Unless these are in-game settings? This would be cool, in combination with something like world-gen seeds.

* Disaster Intensity (slider) - Determines how much damage a single disaster does. Would be right underneath Disaster Frequency * Allow NPC Civilizations in Aware (checkbox and slider) - Slider determines the highest stage any civ can reach. * More Customizable LAWK - What if you want organic wheels in your game, but you really hate Thermoplasts for some reason? Here's my idea for planet/solar system settings. Gronked up senses: On/Off I feel this would work better as something that the player can turn off in the middle of the game, in case they don't like it. Same thing for third person.

Changing the frequency of different kinds of disasters would be nice, too.

I could also imgine a Civ4 like setup. You know choosing overal Temperature, humidity, sea levels, type of landmass. Maybee eaven planet size, wich would affect gravity. I believe beeing able to choose the elemental compostion of the planet would be too complicated for armchair gamers like me, so having pre set options available (poor, rich, deathmatch ;D) would be great too. Oh and please, please, please, add LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of Tooltips. I personaly HATE having to research what every option enables me to do, or simply guessing. I believe there is no such thing as too many tooltips.

Enable cheats: Yes/No
Even though, while playing, you can enable cheats to get the "Belgium it!" achievement.
