In regards to their legs, they're long and deer like, though thicker, sporting more muscle in the upper thigh than their quadrupedal cousins. These are finished with a relatively small foot with a cloven hoof. A short tail remains exiting the pelvis of the Staggen.
Unremarkably, facially they look like their close relatives. With little need for change snout wise, the only noticeable difference in the increase in skull size to house a larger brain. Males and females both have antlers, though the males tend to be larger and more intricate, females can too match them in intricity.
All Staggen are covered in a quite thin fur, it protects them from the harsh cold enough that not too much clothing is required. Fat is stored predominantly in the stomach and gluteal regions, though can shift into the upper thighs.
Staggen have developed remarkably acute eyesight, being able to a broader range of shades of green, white and yellow. Allowing them to spot predators lurking in snow, woodland or dry grasses.

Technology:
Basic Flamecraft - the discovery of fire allowed Staggen to experience a broader range of food, cooking toxins out of berries, and learning to use this new found ability to aid them at night.
Basic Wool Working- Malgamoth wool is an abundant resource to Staggen, easy to attain by shaving their Mammothlike companions, they've learnt to weave clothes, bed mats, tents and other utilities out of the sturdy fabric.
Animal Husbandry - Taming Malgamoths is quite easy for a Staggen, by following the herd and being seen as no threat, they're easily tamed. With gestational cycles similar Staggens they're relatively slow to accumulate in large amounts but easy to manage. These creatures serve as walking farms. By building platforms from twig and tied wool the Staggen have formed a perfect mantle for vine plants to grow. They flourish on the backs and sides of Malgamoths, the creatures themselves get to pick the large fruits at will with their trunks and in turn water them with the same device. Soaking up water through it before spraying it all over the flora growing on its body.
Basic Bone and Flint Weaponry - The Staggens native homes houses a variety of dormant crumbling volcanoes, aswell as some active ones. From these volcanic sites obsidian is collected and fashioned into crude blades and javelins. Other weapons like the Staggen ‘Malgamoth Halgr’ are also fashioned from this material. This particular weapon is added to bull Malgamoth tusks, by tying a mixture of wool and vines with various sizes of obsidian shards to create what the Northern Humans call ‘Black Tusk Bulls’.
Tusk glyphs - intricate carvings on the risks of fallen Malgamoths depict a year of tribe life. Each year a tusk will be taken from one of the weaker Malgamoths in a ritual known as the ‘Nara’ by doing this, said Malgamoth becomes a house mount, an entire family will store their belongings and possessions on detusked Malgamoths.
Culture - The Staggen are a nomadic people, fighting amongst their various tribes for control over travel routes and water sources. Their way of life encircles the great Malgamoths. So much in fact that these creatures are worshipped by the Staggen.
In a Staggen community you're ranked based on your skill in battle. A Fragak (chief) is most acclaimed and this position is fought for by various ‘Skiivs’ who fight every 2 years for a chance to claim the title of Fragak. Although, being a Fragak is more than just being a leader, to your people, you're considered one in a legacy on many, you lose your past life and embody what is truly means to be Fragak. This means severing all ties to non immediate family in public and only showing love and compassion in close circles or private tents.
All Staggen take part in war and agriculture, farming the Malgamoths and riding them into battle. An entire tribe fights for the tribe, not just the ‘warrior class’.
