-LIVESTOCK
You could tame livestock by luring them into a specified area of your territory.
If you wanted a carnivore, you could use fresh meat and leave it in a fenced-off area that you built, and bring your desired animal into the fenced off section. Then, when you have a good amount, close the gate and bring them food. They'll eventually calm down and be tamed.
If you want an herbivore, do the same thing but with large plants, like roots.
-INTERACTION
When you first arrive in Tribal stage, the animals around you will be afraid of you. You're most likely the first sentient being on your planet, and most animals don't quite know how to deal with the eerie amount of intelligence you have. So whenever you show off your intellectual prowess, animals tend to run off or hide.
As time goes on, other related species might try the same things you do and might follow in your intelligent footsteps (example: neanderthals and humans). You could either attempt to wipe them out to decrease competition, or breed with them and create allies, eventually mixing two species together. Other paths could be taken (such as letting them be and not really interacting), and that would lead to other consequences.
-TRIBAL INTERACTIONS
In Tribal, you have 3 options: Aggressive, Passive, or Friendly.
Aggressive; Your tribe and the other one don't like each other. The casual interactions tend to be filled with insults and occasionally spiral into violence. You two are almost always after the same goal, trying to 1-up the other tribe. This doesn't help the situation. One of you two is bound to go extinct because of the other one - or maybe the other tribes will just kill both of you because they're annoyed by your squabbles.
Passive; You and the other tribe don't talk much. When you do, not much is passed between the members. You're not on good terms, but you're not on bad terms either. It could honestly go either way.
Friendly; You and this tribe are on good terms. Something went right - Either you helped each other, or your species are related, or maybe your chiefs just hit it off real well. Ups and downs occur, but in general, you guys will help each other in hard times. Hooray!
These different relationships could be affected by first impressions and day-to-day interactions. If you choose to attack Tribe A, chances are they'll be closer to Aggressive on the meter. But if you decide to help them in their battle with wild animals, they might just be a little more friendly - they might even pay you back later.
Also, it would be pretty neat if you could entirely reverse your relationship. For instance:
Tribe A still hates you because of your attack. But you're desperate for allies, so you bring a basket of gifts for them. Whether or not Tribe A accepts the gift is up to them, but if they do, your relationship might go closer to Passive.
Tribe B loves you, and you're tight allies. But your Tribe has fallen on hard times, and simple gifts aren't enough. You decide to attack Tribe B for territory, as they have a lot of food you could certainly do well with. Your allience melts away and Tribe B's meter is now closer to Aggression now.
-TERRITORY
When you become a proper Tribe, you get an automatic territory that is broken up into 4 sections. When another Tribe fights you for Territory and wins, you lose one of your sections. Should you fight that Tribe back and win, you get your section back. If you attack another Tribe for territory, you get a piece of their land.
If all of your sections are taken over, you're either absorbed into another tribe or game-over'd. If you can get a grip on another Tribe's full territory, they meet the same fate. If you can steal all the Tribes' territories, you 'win' - But an uprising could occur at any time (and most likely will), and you could lose your territory again.
