If I remember right the symbol that the nazis used was not a real swastika . It was a symbol of the HRE later called "hakenkreuz" .

The nazis took the original symbol and rotated it 45 degrees

Or the Nazis invented a time machine and really did create the image...

TIL there is inflation in MMOs, expecially in MMORPGs.
And I aslo learnt how to combat this in-game infalation. I find this expecially interesting, as I as an economics student study Inflation a lot (and with a lot, I mean A LOT) It is a phenomenon I have seen before, tho rarely since I don't realy play MMOs and next to never for any longer period of time.
So if I made you curious, go check out this video (the whole chanel is pretty good, even for non-game desighners like me)
Edit: His explanation of inflation IRL is not exactly complete in my opinion, but good enough for the situation.

TIL (well it was a while ago) that the use by date on water bottles is not for the water but for the time when the plastic will begin to degrade and fall into the water. It's kind of obvious but oh well.

TIL that solar wind hitting the Moon's surface (facilitated by a functionally nonexistent atmosphere) is the cause of its helium-3 abundance.
I'm thinking that, in Thrive, helium-3 could best be found on bodies with thin atmospheres closer to their planet star, either existing everywhere on the surface in trace amounts (so that every amount of "sediment" resource from the surface would have an amount of helium-3 to extract) or in fossil fuel-like deposits.

TIL that there's this place called Svalbard. It's an island territory of Norway, due north of the rest of Scandanavia.
Anyone here heard of it before? (Also, anyone want to place bets on if it would go completely unnoticed during a global nuclear war?)

Yesterday I learned that there's a plant called mimosa pudica that uses action-potential-like events to withdraw its leaves when distrubed to deter herbivores.
