In the full game, will we be able to move our race underground in the multicellular stage, and develop civilisations in the society stage?

Well, can't say cave generation'd be too high on the dev's list with so much else that will be on their plate, but it sounds like a cool idea. Especially with planets that look like Saturn's moon Hyperion, with a crazy sponge-like appearance, but with the craters being connected. This game series called Oddworld has this as part of the planet's lore (a geological disaster caused the crust to fall apart into three layers, with craters on the surface exposing cave systems separating them).
