Once more we return to our young planet, and still life continues to evolve and change, but evolution is not devoid of conflict...
Back in the regions of East and West Wonderna, life has begun to expand, the White Alga populations have extended to the islands Pitch, Tempo, and Melodie. Elsewhere, the new species, Stevian Storm Grass, after having replaced its ancestor, the Holey Hand Grenade, it has spread out from the Soul Shelf to the Ebony, Ivory, Sunshine, Key of Life, and Love shelves, accompanied by surviving populations of Superstition primus, while out in the Stevian, a new, larger species, Superstition devoratrix, has taken hold, with a thicker, longer body, and a rudimentary internal beak, making it much more adapted to capturing organic matter from the water. Out in the waters of the Ana'teth, evolution continues to roil. A new, bioluminescent species of nocturnal Vesol, the Veluna has taken up residence in the open waters, as well as the shallows of the Vi'goth, Soul, and Sinna'teth shelves, as well as the Yoggasoth Coast. Meanwhile, a population of Harbingers has moved in, starving out the local Vesol populations, while to the north, a stockier species of Bab'eth, the Bab'eth Outrider has begun to populate the E'Maneth Ocean. Continuing our journey of life, we return to Yoggoth Isle, where on the shores of the And'roth Bay, we find that the microscopic vine Dagon'ortha has begun to sprout and spread. Each tiny plant grows and releases a single, floating seed pod. Held within, a dozen embryonic vines, just waiting for a riptide to bring them to landfall somewhere else. Already, populations of Dagon'ortha exist on the Yoggasoth Coast. While several seed pods have washed up on the shores of the Sinna'teth shelf, the seedlings found little purchase on the rocks, already coated in a layer of Pirated Algae. Further east on our journey, we find that in the Greatest Named Tropics, life has taken a drastic turn. The kingdom of radially symmetric animals has completely collapsed after three new species, Bab'eth Plunderer, Ascendant, and the "Greatest Named Seragogas", have moved in. Three rather unusual creatures, two of a mantled body, and gold-flaked skin, and the third a small, mouse-sized creature, resembling a turquoise tadpole with a mouth full of long hairs. However, the local flora seem to be flourishing well, in fact, to the south, on the Sinna'teth shelf, the Pirated Algae has spread to Isla Mejor, Isla Notable, Isla Gloriosa, and Isla Grande. All the while, a new species, dubbed the "Seeds of Evolution" can be seen growing upon the very same isles. Its tiny, waterborne seeds dropping from their photosynthetic disks into the slurry of the waves, like the first rains of Spring. Finally, our journey brings us eastward again. However, not to the expanse of the Shoreline region, but northward, to the Land of Fire, where mats of North Alga, and clusters of North Trunks have begun to take over the coast, the short, apple-red stumps rustling softly in the sea breeze. Meanwhile, across the water, on Adamant Isle, Isla del Rosas, and Fortress Island, each named for their unique topography, North Land Trunks grow among clusters of their ancestral brethren, their taproots growing deep into the water tables of their island homes.
Truly, life has continued to prove that survival is not for the unprepared. Though through it all, life, will find a way.
