Miscellaneous Talk That Doesn't Deserve A New Thread Thread

Negative dreams (from my recollection of PSYCH 100) are more frequent and more memorable for the majority of the population. That trend lends credence to the hypothesis that dreaming evolved to prepare us for the dangers of the world, rather than to fulfill desires (a la Freud) or the forebrain making sense of random firings in the basal ganglia.

There are a lot of other really interesting patterns in dreams, like common themes (i.e. driving with your feet) and contradictory logic (I frequently have dreams that even if I remember them, I couldn't explain them even to my self because I can't wrap my head around how they work).

I was thinking a bit today, would Thrive need a Discord chat of some kind? I know there's already the developer thing but maybe a discord for both the community and the developers?
