I know this might be a bit much, but several animals on earth have different forms depending on sex. Male cardinals are bright red, while females are a dull brown. Bucks have antlers while does do not. And there's even a prehistoric shark(of which I forgot the name of) where males have a long forward-protruding spike coming off it's back which was thought to have been used in courtship. This idea just peaked my interest because I have a wandering mind. I'm also not saying that it needs to be thought out and then realizing it can't be done(because it probably can't be done) I'm just saying how cool that could be!

Castes could achieve this. The caste system (as last I checked it on the wiki) allows for different variations of your main body plan (e.g. worker ant, builder ant, queen ant), and could probably be easily set up for sexual dimorphism. So if the caste system ends up being implemented, this is an achievable goal!

Exactly what the Admiral said. Unless the plans change before we get to that point that'll totally be possible.

So both of you guys think it's possible? I thought it would've been harder to do since you basically have to probably make two creatures instead of one.

Castes have been discussed previously and are currently planned to be implemented when we get to that stage. So, when making your creature in the OE, you would probably get an option to make a caste, choose it to be the female version and make whatever tweaks you want.

That's awesome! It's going to be awesome to have stuff like that when populating creatures in the planet editor.

Once the machinery is in place to make 1 creature then it's very simple to make 2. This should all be very possible.
