Endothermic (warm-blooded, make your own heat) and exothermic (cold-blooded, heat depends on environment) are the terms, I think.
I reckon that, since warm-blooded creatures burn through energy to maintain a specific body temperature, they'd have a larger incentive to invent agriculture.

Well, having your body spend energy on making its own heat, coupled with a large brain that's even more energy-hungry, means having a steady food source is more important than ever. Mitochondria produce heat when they do their thing, so "increase mitochondria" would do the trick... Maybe as an upgrade for the heart? Also, endothermy includes mechanisms that prevent overheating as well, so "pant" and "lift ears" "when hot" would go in the behavior editor.
