Deciding that you've seen everything there is to see in the corpse area, you decide to explore a bit now that everyone's regrouped.
You pretty much continue in the direction away from where you were, while staying parallel to the shoreline (which is a bit distant).
Your course takes you to an are of many rather large rocks in the same place, which could be called rough terrain. Tuberilangs are very numerous here, but surprisingly there don't see any Decadivvers to exploit this. What you DO see, however, are several large... things?
They are rooted to their spots, like Tuberilangs, but are about the size of Ditacerels, maybe slightly larger. They have many long green tentacles extanding upward, as well as violet bases. One of them has a dead Axiolar Anglefish in its grip.
You have 5/5 health.
You have 4/5 stomach.
You have a population of 16, with 16 accounted for, and 16 with you.
You have 5 MP.

Maybe we test it to see if its deadly by telling a sandfox to bite it and run away if something happens?

Deciding to take things carefully, you swim down to one of the things' violet bases. It ripples and clearly is made of soft flesh. You carefully nip into it.
Three things quickly happen. One, the thing (which is in all likelihood an animal of some kind) convulses. Two, the twitching allows one of the tentacles to brush against your back, causing a burning pain. Three, something dashes out between the tentacles.
It looks like a relatively small, red Axiolar Anglefish with yellow eyes. However, the boomerang fins are at a tighter angle, making it more arrow-like. Acting too quickly for you to react, it does a barrel roll to get to your left side, then shoots forward and bites you. Its small teeth don't dig in too badly, but they clearly managed to sink into your thickened skin (odds are with your old skin membrane it would have been torn apart completely).
You have 4/5 health.
You have 4/5 stomach.
You have a population of 16, with 16 accounted for, and 16 with you.
You have 5 MP.

Hi! Been lurking around for a while now, and decided to make an account and join finally. Since the red Axiolar Anglefish is fast, running problably wouldn't help, so a group attack would likely be more effective. (Are we allowed to give this kind of anglefish one a separate name or not? Is it a similar species or just like a different gender? If we can name it separately, I'd say Acute Anglefish.)

Startled by the Acute Anglefish (+2 MP), you dash back away from its tentacled abode. Just as quickly as it came, the red fish notices your retreat and returns to its hiding place.
Now regrouped with the others (whom are quite reluctant to approach the tentacled things, themselves) the burning sting on the tentacle has mostly subsided, and your blood is at work scabbing the wound.
The abundant Tuberilangs (possibly protected from Decadivvers by the tentacled sentinels) show no response to what has just transpired.
You have 4/5 health.
You have 4/5 stomach.
You have a population of 16, with 16 accounted for, and 16 with you.
You have 7 MP.

Yeah, we should probably rest for now. Also, if we think we know enough about the tentacle monsters give them a good name, that would be free MP.
