If there's one thing I've noticed among the Microbe stage's soundtrack is that there is a common theme in it. Simplistic, atmospheric sounds created by synthesized instruments that make for very calming tracks.
So the question I have is, would the other stages have a particular 'theme' to it? I could imagine Multicellular adding more of a beat to the Microbe track but that's probably best lest to Oliver as I know nothing of developing music.

That's all you need for this question's answer.
He has what I presume to be the entire soundtrack for microbe and he has the music for the rest of the stages as well as a few other thrive related things.
He also has Hell For Leather which I personally love.
