I was thinking that the launcher should allow you to play old, obsolete versions of the game all the way back to 0.0.1 sort of like how the Minecraft launcher lets you use older versions of the game. The launcher already allows me to select 0.3.4, 0.3.3 and 0.3.2 but I am unsure if any rollback features were planned so I wanted to suggest it here just in case.

That would be a great idea if someone wanted to make another "History of Thrive" video, I'm in full support of this idea.
However, it can be argued that maybe including the obsolete versions would be a waste of computer space, and so it could be a case where you can select an option to do so or not.

Hmm maybe, but you could just delete the other versions after the launcher downloads the one you want.

Or, alternatively, you could SELECT the one you want, getting rid of the hassle involving deleting a bajillion files.

In the Minecraft launcher, all different versions are not downloaded immediately, but doesn't pair well with delta files. In addition, you can select to use "unstable" beta versions, called snapshots.
Another advantage is that the Minecraft launcher doesn't take until the heat death of the universe to retrieve delta files.
