I hope I'm not alone in playing SMITE but since the game utilizes gods from various pantheons (more specifically Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Hindu, Roman, Mayan, Japanese and Celtic pantheons currently) I've had my fair share of gods/monsters/anything from mythology I want to see in the game. My current wishlist is: Erebus Horkos/Orcus Balor Enenra Ryujin Hyperion Cu Sith Jormungandr Baldr If anyone else who plays it has a wishlist or an idea feel free to post it here (Side Note: I am aware this thread is not very relevant to Thrive and apologize)

As a general rule, as long as you're not some random person who just joined 20 minutes ago in order to advertise you're ok.

So I guess no one else really cares. Darn, figured this would've at least produced some sort of discussion considering it's mythology (put into a video game). Also if anyone on the forums is Irish, you may or may not be offended that Cu Chulainn who is the next god being added has a Scottish accent rather than an Irish accent. Then again Smite isn't exactly good with being accurate with voices (Guan Yu has a typical American accent, Athena is Russian, Ne Zha just has an annoying voice in general, none of the Norse gods sound like they're from Scandinavia or wherever, two of the Egyptian gods have British accents and the list goes on)...at least Zeus's voice is really good.
Fun Fact: Smite has managed to get some surprising people to voice gods and skins. Kuzenbo, the King of the Kappa is voiced by Mike Pollock AKA Dr. Eggman and one of Loki's skins is voiced Joshua Overshire/Jovenshire of the Smosh crew.

The game has the Mayan Pantheon which currently consists of Ah Muzen Cab, Ah Puch, Awilix, Cabrakan, Camazotz, Chaac, Hun Batz, Kukulkan and Xbalanque (my personal favorite).

Kinda curious whay abilities they gave Kukulkan. And Chaac does he basically waterbend, being the god of rain and stuff?

Would you mind telling me about these guys? I'd kinda like to get into South-American stuff, but the myths always freak me out too much when I try t oread them. It's just waaay to gore-y for my tastes, I suppose.

Nah I don't know much. I know about Chaac because I went to Chichen Itza and this vendor explained that he's a rain god. That's about it.

Well Chaac does have a lightning axe to split the clouds and bring rain.. but Jamaican accent? Really? Like I said, Smite isn't exactly the best at that. And Aquos, I don't get Scylla either. They also like many others confuse Apollo as the one who carries the sun across the sky, which is actually Helios (and they made Apollo British because...I don't know)
