I'm probably going to make more of these if you guys don't mind. Having finished For Honor's story mode twice now (once on regular difficulty and once on hard difficulty), I'd figure I'll post my thoughts on it and see what others think. So let's talk first about the story structure and how it progresses. I think the mission format works for this kind of game and it doesn't always have you doing the same thing or playing as the same person, which keeps things from becoming repetitive. The story itself is compelling enough to be invested in, and in my opinion picks up after the first chapter. But I do have my gripes with it. Firstly, while Apollyon does her job of being the big bad fairly well, we never get her motivation behind why she wants to start an endless war (for all we know it could've been because she burnt her toast that morning) which makes her more confusing and annoying than threatening. Next are these occasional moments where you have to do these minigames (The horse-riding part in chapter 2 and the block the charging horses part in chapter 3) that feel out of place among For Honor's gameplay. Finally, the AIs usually only one of two things, stand there and block, or non-stop attack which is really obnoxious. I might make a thread about the rest of For Honor but for now I just wanted to cover the story mode. Feel free to post your own thoughts
