Hey everybody, does anybody here go fishing? I recently got back into fishing again, and it's a really fun sport to get away from it all. I also just posted my first video of me fishing in a local canal. Discuss fishing, and fish in general!

Just like any hobby, it takes time, practice, money, and sometimes even luck to start getting the hang of it. Fishing isn't for everyone, but it sure is something for me. |

It's more that I didn't have patience, and the sun was annyoing me  (I know I could've buyed a parasol, but I was too lazy for that). It just isn't really for me. |

That's ok, I mean fishing is a very outdoorsy sport. Sometimes, it can seem like the time and energy fishing isn't worth catching a few fish, and that's ok. But to me it's adventure to escape depression, stress, life, anger. Fishing is a place to meet like-minded people, and probably never say a word to them. It's a lot more than to catch fish in my opinion. |

I went fishing once up in the mountains. Never caught anything and I dont count it as real fishing cuz I used one of those springloaded fishing rods that launch the hook.
I would live to fish for real some time!

I remember when i was 10 that i caught a fish the size of my thigh
And yes we gutted it cooked it and i tasted moist and delicious
