Hi so i played the new updated version (rc2) and after closing it and troubleshooting for 20 minutes i reproduced (yay) and now i close the game (clicking exit game) and my desktop is now a tiny square in the top left corner of my screen
Is this a hack? because i searched online and my antivirus is telling me to delete half the .dll in the thrive folder i got.
Please fix this i am extremely betrayed i have to restart my pc, you should program this a bit better/fix it right now thanks

Did you play in fullscreen mode? If you did it is known to mess with your desktop resolution. So the solution is to play in windowed mode until Ogre developers (the graphics engine we are using) fix their broken fullscreen mode. Also antiviruses are really bad with small software releases because they think all new files they haven't seen before are viruses. One of our developers had an issue with norton deleting half of the game's files. If you'd like to help us with that you could send the thrive files to your antivirus software's false positive reporting service. Additionally if you think the download is a virus you can read through all the source code (it's all here: github.com/Revolutionary-Games/Thrive ) and even compile the game from scratch so you can be certain that it doesn't contain viruses. Though it will still have the resolution issue. |

oh ok so i must go to the ogre forum and tell them there that they hacked my desktop? because this issue wont disappear until i restart my computer.

well they didn't hack your desktop they just accidentally messed up the resolution.
