I'd like to participate even though my art skills are terrible . I hope that the amazing artists here like Atrox , Narotiza or minegamer will also participate so that we will have amazing outcomes ! Don't worry I'm sure you'll be good, also mine was one of the first people to know about this so he'll definitely be joining! Edit: BTW mods this post was meant to go before serial's and after ATP's

Surprised no-one has made something like this before, basically I am gonna give you guys a topic and you'll try and draw it, the topic can be broad(draw an alien environment) or specific(show how your species would dance in disco mode). I could also have it simple(draw this) or complicated(I'll give you 3 setting, characters and actions and you pick one of each and make yourself a piece of art). I really want to make this competition and I'll probably join in but I don't know how many will enter, so for now I'll set up a poll to see how many would actually join in. Edit: I'll definitely start as I definitely have enough people. A new challenge will be made every Monday and Friday, I'll try and make it before 8:10 UK time but if I don't make it then I'll have to make it around 16:00-18:00 UK time. If it is 19:00 UK time and it still isn't made try and PM me or try to remind me in some other way. If you have any questions about the topics ask them in this thread and I'll respond as soon as possible. ATTENTION: I am cancelling this challenge unless I am convinced otherwise, not enough people are participating so there's no point to it, it was fun while it lasted but it has to end. Challenge 1:
Topic:Giant industrious machines(drills, cranes ect.) I also want the sense of scale to big a large part of the image, it may be as alien as you want with purple bits and lasers but make it have the same use as something more normal looking. Participants: RoboTranic: Lanky Giraffe: minegamer117 Captain McDerp GRODOG Narotiza ATP Kraken Challenge 2:
Topic: An alien predator prey chase scene, this can be anything anywhere, whether it's underwater or above ground, or between large creatures or small creature. Participants: RoboTranic Lanky Giraffe: mirrormonkey2: minegamer117: GRODOG: Challenge 3:
Topic: Combine 2 creatures to make a hybrid!(aliens preferred) Participants: RoboTranic: GRODOG: Challenge 4:
Topic: A drawing of an environment, it can be anywhere even underwater.

Omicron Though the less evolved tripods do truly have 3 limbs, sentient tripod's tail evolved into a leg. As if you have 2 arms you'll be quite unstable with 1 leg, so it's technically 3 limbs and a tail but the tail acts like a limb. You can also see this since the 2 legs are faced forwards and backwards rather then to the sides

Apex Producer: Reach ascension as a plant
Apex Producer: Become the apex species of your planet as a plant

I know this is a oldish thread. But back in the days when I was thinking how spore 2 would be like, you know, if it were to exist, I thought that maybe a VERY small amount of players could connect to one server. And instead of being different species are the same species, This eliminates a lot of problems with the multiplayer idea(tech advances going much faster then evolution, servers?, ect)
When a player wants to evolve/outfit/create/modify, the other player(s) will get a notification that a player wants to evolve/outfit/create/modify. If the other player(s) press(es) a accept button it will go into the creators. In the creators all the players have the ability to modify the same creation, and once one player clicks the complete button the other player(s) will get a notification, if he/she/they presses the a accept button then the creator stops and the creator is modified. If a player leaves during the creator, the other player(s) get's full control(idk if you should be able to start to go into the creator when not all of the players are on the server), Though if something get's so messed up a player can press a cancel button and all the creator stops and the creation goes back to where it was before.
During the normal gameplay time the players get to choose whether they spawn close or spawn on different part of their "region"(of the species itself) They can choose to work together or fight for resources(even when it goes against the natural behaviour of the species). It would be cool to see a real player while in a quite lonely world.
As you can imagine this is less of a pub type of multiplayer and more of a private type, you'd want to play this with close friends rather then random strangers. I feel like a more private multiplayer would more simple and easier to add, and in my opinion one of the best ways to do multiplayer.
Of course if you guys do manage to find a way to make pub servers possible then feel free to add it, but if it is really that hard you can always take my idea(or think of your own which is very similar to mine).

I heard somewhere that it will be possible to make a creature over 250 meters long! That's massive!
So I though would it be possible that a slow moving herbivorous giant(which most of the massive creatures would probably be like) would have and entire biome on it's back. Kinda like the groveback from Alien Planet but a 250 meter long creature would be way bigger then a groveback and instead of having a small patch of saplings on it's back, a creature of this size could have full grown trees and small and meduim sized creatures on it's back.
I am not quite sure how this could be implemented in game though. Maybe if a huge creature would have a skin covering(or the skin itself) that supported a large plant growing there, maybe a large plant would automatically start growing. And after that creatures(which are likely to be small) who live on and around the plant will move to the creatures back. And then after that creatures who eat those small creatures would come and prey on them, then even larger creatures and ect. Until a apex predator of this new "back biome" would be reached, this creature would be medium or even large sized. This process will start again whenever I new member of this huge species would be born(you'd imagine these creatures would live to be quite old and not reproduce commonly).
Another way of doing this may be to use the caste system, but I am unsure if this would fit inside what the caste system would do.
If these creatures were to evolve naturally you could be a creature who lives on their backs, and make a village and maybe even a civilisation on a giant's back.
That 250 meter big creature thing may be wrong and be happy to correct me. But even if it is wrong be free to talk about it.
Edit: I didn't really say what would be the benefits to this(apart from just being super cool of course), maybe, like the groveback, the trees on the creature would give the creature nutrients, and the smaller creatures on the back doesn't really affect it, so there would be no point in attracting or getting rid of them. Maybe if the huge creature was omnivorous(or even carnivorous) it could snatch a creature of it's back(but considering it's huge size it would probably not do anything for it).

I didn't even think about using the caste system!! That's really awesome you're right! The massive biome organism could act as a nest and a queen at the same time and it could have castes. A worker class that brings it biological material to grow with fleshy monsters invading civilizations and stealing livestock. A warrior class that guards the nestmother at all times. Ahh this would be sooo cool! Edit: I can't tell what the second picture is It's the flood from halo
