I am not the most scientistic *cough*thatjokewasautisticaf*cough* person out there, but I do enjoy a good amount of accuracy out there when it comes to games- especially when you get to the medieval-modern (not post modern, that would be post-WW2 I believe) periods, where I start to get triggered whenever someone makes a mistake with swords, armor, warships, ect. but I realize that at some point it needs to be fun for others who maybe don't value the accuracy or practicality of armor and weapons, and just go with it. Of course, this could be flipped around to this situation as well. Idk where I am going with this anymore, I feel high af right now so I literally don't know why I am still typing, hopefully this makes sense.

3. The font was changed everywhere there was a paragraph or a long text to read. The Thrive font was left as a label on buttons and the like because it looks better. You're right! I was looking at those and must have assumed you didn't change it at all. Personally, it doesn't look better to me, but that's something I can live with. You sure you're using 0.3.2? I'll make a video. EDIT: How exactly is the game usually recorded? After it opens, the recording just shows my cursor and blackness. EDIT2: You can see in this video: If you are using OBS then you need to add a source for thrive, right click an empty area and then add a game capture, choose create new, then find Thrive. also, if you don't have a decent computer, OBS will lag your computer to Belgium... In fact, last time I used it I burnt my legs due to my laptop overheating from OBS recording :l

idk what this is... It's just a bipedal carnivore that I made in Sculptris- I was also to lazy to paint it, so it looks hella bland. Quick Question... the heck is that background? What does Count Chocula have to do with any of this XD It's and inside meme my dude. Unfortunately I cannot explain it here, but I will on the discord, lol.

But yeah, apparently people actually enjoy the stuff I post, so I will sit around with some of my friends (it's surprising I actually have them, lmao) and think of some things that we could either add on to existing species, or create. I constantly try making creatures on spore, but I end up not liking them, or they just don't seem to be anotomically possible (I have not clue if that makes sense, leave me alone pl0xxx). Another thing that I noticed about spore, is that it's a real Belgium when you try to make bipedal, and quadro pedal creatures. If you make one, it seems fine, but when you start making more, they all end up looking the same. Perhaps that is just and issue with the way I look at things, maybe others have the same issue, idk. I might have to put this on the back burner though, as people have been pestering me to upload daily because they enjoy things I make I guess. But yeah... Until then my dudes.

This is Primum Armatae Pisces, it's an arthropod... Fish... Thing (thus the name) that roamed Nervusius's ancient oceans, and actually lead to the extinction of several species that just weren't able to compete with it. I dont know if I should go into detail or not, so I won't, I havent really thought of anything special about it other than the fact that it is armored, has a stinger thing, and has eyes. Up next we got an armored crab. I forgot what the latin name I had for it was, but it was literally just "armored crab". then we have this, I call it a Corallium Venator. This creature has a bit more things I could go into specific about for it, but as I said, I won't, lol if your a symmetry nut, this probably triggered you. That's all I have for now, I am trying to set aside time to write about a battle that I did recently that I personally thing was pretty lit. until then o/

Well hello there, I am that guy who keeps trying to write Belgium for most of his day's and fails miserably. Since I have demoralizing amounts of failures and other stuff when it comes to writing, this is going to be more visual based... I think... Oh well, I should really just explain what this is, and what is going to be in it :l. So first I am going to explain the general concept of this! Basically (it can't be a generalization without saying Basically 200 times) what this is, is a catalog of every single species I make up in my mind. Along with what they look like, how they behaved, when they lived, ect. I am going to use Spore for most of this, as my drawing skills are probably a 5/10, and my skills in Photoshop and other drawing Belgium are a good 2/10... Sooo, yeah.
Now onto the detailed Belgium I will probably just post creatures with their own posts so that things aren't to confusing, and just put their respective dates of evolution and other stuff in their data. Each era is measured by 1,112 Zeitaltere, each Zeitalter is 900 Jahre, each Jahre is still 12 months, so an age is an EXTREMELY long time. Since I am a lazy Belgium, each era is just *era number* and then Zeitalter, which is Age in German (Zweite Zeitalter for example). I will most likely put prä- (pre-) before the age just to show that the species is from prehistory instead of "current" history in Nervusian history (that's a lot of Belgiuming history). I will not include the evolution of early Human, or Humanoid lifeforms, as that is something entirely different that I could make a different thread for. This thread will also be where a lot of new history and other things pop up, as I kinda just make my history as I go along.
Kicking everything off with a bang!!!1 (cringe) I kinda feel like I should give you all something to look at as of now, so I fired up Spore and made some creatures that can give you a taste of what some things should look like
This is Parva res fluens. It lived around 47657.17 Zeitaltere before land animals appeared, and is the first sea creature to form a primitive mouth which can perform an opening/closing motion with any kind of speed. It weighed around 3 or 4 pounds (1 or 1.8 kg), and was 2-3 feet long (0.6(or 0.6096 idk)-0.9(or 0.9144) Meters). It was one of the biggest creatures roaming the oceans at the time. It used it's tail to help it turn, and to move at high speeds when it detects prey. The only question is, how does it detect prey? Well, around its pincers, there are very sensitive nerves that detect movement below the Parva. When the creature detects prey, it undergoes a long process of turning itself until it is able to take an educated guess as to where the vibrations are coming from, then, it flicks its tail and inflates its exterior skin flap to gain a Belgium ton of speed. There are two things that happen here; 1. The Parva misses and the prey swims away. Umardolothian archeologists have found fossil imprints of Parva res fluens with broken pincers, which leads them to believe that their pincers where actually hollow, and would constantly break or crack when they hit nearby rocks. 2. they hit their prey, and most likely get their food. Once a Parva gets a hold of a chunk of meat, it uses its exterior skin flap to jet to the surface (once it is oriented towards the surface, that is) where it eats its food. It will float there for hours, funneling chunks of semi-chewed meat through a small tube that connects directly to a small bag made of slime-covered tissue fibers, where it uses an early form of stomach acid to melt down food, and extract vitamins, and other nutrients that it requires in order to survive. The reason that it floats gives it its name: Parva res fluens, or, Small floaty thing. This species didn't have too much competition for millions of years, until, it's prey started to evolve. For millions of years during Parva res fluen's reign, its competition where mere bottom dwellers with no protection other than the rocks above them, so they where easy kills as long as the attacking Parva could hit its target. Over time, it's prey became defenseless bottom feeders, to, swift, strong, and shelled predators. Even the bottom feeders of that era evolved plates and other ways to defend themselves against these predators, and other threats. This inevitably made the Parva to start to decline, with the combination of their fragile pincers, and the new apex-predators that where able to swim to the surface and eat them, they where out-competed.
This was the first time I actually got this far on anything other than that other long post that I made on the space empires thread. So, in order not to screw this work of Belgiuming art up, I will just call it here and start putting out new species tomorrow
^ None of that is really relevant anymore, so if you took the time to read all of that... Jokes on you boi
Did you just assume my Belgiuming gender you sexist misogynist swine, I will have you know I identify as a Toaster fluent Quadgender, and I have 1,000,000 Tumblr followers because of it. I will not take any of your CIS white male bullBelgium. Vultblooop , don't worry about crashing the page or anything hahaha. The character limit is exactly 262144 characters, which is a hell of a lot more than what you wrote. A 404 error, btw, is when you try to find a web page that doesn't exist. Final thing: try not to double post. There's an edit button that you can use to modify your post. lol, what I meant by that was something like, "404: No Life found", or something along the lines lol.

I spent half a day writing, but then I clicked on a god damn mortgage bookmark instead of the button for a new tab (I am using safari on a Macbook, so if anyone uses one they will know how close the bookmarks are to the new tab button) and lost everything. So here, just take this link, its where all of my lore an Belgium is. Keep in mind this is extremely outdated, and not really story based. I guess it's better than nothing though. If you guys want me to talk about the newer, more in-depth version of Umardolothian lore and history I will set aside some time to do so forum.openwar.org/t/das-umardolische-kaiserreich-the-umardolothian-empire/187

Do you guys think you could release a sort of designer for any of the stages, other than the microbe stage before the game is complete? Or better yet, before the Microbe stage is complete? It would be very cool to get a perspective on what all of these upcoming stages would be like, but I was just wondering if the thought ever crossed your minds

Explain to me ideas on your Thrive planets? What will inhabit your worlds in sandbox? What sort of themes will you go for? Will you go for an exploration Safari, or will you make cities and civilization? Will it be a wild adventure that'll lack a story? Or will you make a tear jerking journey of your own writings? Will you develop creatures of the past, present, or future? Will they be your pets, or be the pets of your own virtual world? Speculative evolution, or speculative aliens? Will you base it off habitats of your own backyard, or the habitats of a far off galaxy? I've got so many ideas for sandbox planets when Thrive comes out, that I won't play for the evolution part for about a year after I originally download that version! you'll see on my profile: "Timetraveler22 games played=0 general organisms(plants, animals, ect...) created=uncountable Planets created=uncountable and then some. You'll see so many, it'll take an entire server to back up all my planets! Do you have the same feeling? Do you have your own ideas for planets? I'd like to hear what you're going to create once the opportunity comes. I'm not going to share mine though, well, at least... not yet. Well... I have tried to make creatures that inhabit Nervusius several times, wether it be in Species ALRE, or Spore... Well, Species ALRE is a loose cannon with evolution, though, you do get some cool results every know-and-then. Spore is just... Too cartoony and lacks the ability to build what you want, the way you want. Overall, I really haven't found a way to really create what I view the wildlife on Nervusius to be like. Really what Nervusius is, is a strange place, really. I let my creative imagination run wild, instead of the scientific, or logical side of my imagination. I focus mostly on the continent of Platabonia, which is one of the biggest one on Nervusius. The south is mostly dense, temperate jungles with mountains galore. The north and the south are divided by a moist desert on the equator, which allows for an excuse for major Ethnic, Language, and Cultural differences between nations (which also leads to lots of wars ). The North is kinda like the south, but is freezing during the winters. The North has a volcano, which formed the Continent with 3 other volcanos. There are lots of Stag-like-species in the south east, they are huge, broad-bodied beasts which are known as a sign of masculinity, and adulthood. The Bantanians viewed it as a sign that you were ready to be a man once you killed them, then they performed a blood ritual with the corpse of the Stag, and used its bones for armor and weapons used by the man/child who killed it. After this ritual was performed, the boy (now man) would be sent to the elder, and inspected for desirable features for a warrior. Just because he is a man doesn't mean he is combat worthy. If the man was viewed undesirable, he was simply given a woman and sent to his own tent (damn son, get laid). To the north, there are lot's of wolves, and strange beasts. The people of the North (now known as Umardolothians, but once where Aidunians, Setlenonas, Maryiins, Umars, Uxels, Nillis, and D'ellerans) were very superstitious, and had lots of legends, and folk tales about demons of the night, cave people (and Mole people... If you read my post on Space Empires you would know), the face people, and wailers. But this isn't about legends, lol, so anyways... The north was home to Dire Wolves, or Wargs, I don't know what to call them tbh, huge birds, pheasants, and a bunch of alien stuff. The flora in the north and south varies a lot from what side of the continent your on. I think Platabonian Fauna and Flora is boring, and I did when I started mapping out the planet.. Sooooo, I decided to make a continent in the middle of the planet, I don't have a name for it, but it has a bunch of stuff that aliens dropped off there, along with species that evolved with the Humanoid peoples of Myzonia and Platabonia. I don't know what they look like yet, but I am waiting to leave to travel across to US back to my home state so that I can get my laptop fixed... Don't question, the only thing you need to know is Staples screwed me over... anyways, when I finally fix the power jack on my laptop and turn that s###ty a## laptop on, I am going to download a 3d modeler and finally start to make trees, the people, and animals of Nervusius!

I would use what I always use, Umardoloth. I haven't really got around to making to much to do with the Space-faring era of Umardolothian history, but I have been working rather hard in Starmade, Spore, and Space Engineers towards making ships for it.
Das Umardolische Kaiserreich controls (as of now, lore-wise) 15 habitable star systems, 6 of which where inhabited by sentient species, and 3 of those 6 sentient species resisted Umardolothian rule (Acrantak-Umardolothian War, Wavalaca-Umardolothian War, Boil Wars). Each of those wars, Umardoloth won with superior firepower, tactical supremacy, and technological supremacy. Umardolothian Government is more dictorial than most, but the citizens of Umardoloth view it more of apart of their culture, and way of life to have one sovereign rule them, rather than a bunch of rich old white guys sitting around a table thinking about what will benefit their corporate needs (propaganda ftw!). The populace of Umardoloth don't view the Emperor as a God, but it wasn't all that way... 487 N.A.
"The Kaiser walked out from the palace, into the gardens, then onto the balcony overlooking the flatlands of Ergeburgestadt. All of the Peasants from the 2nd District where gathered below the palace, faces showing expressions of rage, and pure hatred for the events that took place there later that day. Before the Kaiser could speak, the crowd erupted at the sight of him in his black silk robes. They began to throw bags of waste (all of the numbers, lol... So mature of me, I know) at him. Eventually, one hit the Kaiser dead in the face, he let out a wail and flew backwards. He immediately ordered the 14th Imperial Tod-Soldaten Regiment to open fire on the crowd. The crowd started to scatter, but where funneled into the 1st district after the Imperial Guard emerged from their barracks on their left, trampling many of their own in the process. Then, they where stopped by the Kandy Lancers, who began trotting towards them down the long street, they kept running, thinking they could get the the intersection. Then, behind them, they heard hundreds of cracking sounds. It was the Imperial Guardsmen. They where advancing, pushing them down the street. At this time, many seen that the Kandy Lancers had reached the Intersection before them, it was over, but most refused to believe this. They began screaming, and clawing at the buildings at their sides. I will spare the details here, but when it became apparent that there was no escape, the surviving few bowed down and began to pray to Siraxta for a swift and merciful death. Then, the sky darkened, making the already dark street pitch black. Lightning hit the group in front of the Imperial Guardsmen, then, in front of the Kandy Lancers. The Emperor exited the Palace, and seen that it was pitch black. He waited, as all the Shooting stopped, the cries of the dying stopped, the sounds of charging horses had stopped... All sounds had ended but the crackle of lightning in the distance. (This is getting way to long and cheesy, I am just going to sum it all up, if anyone wants to hear what happened in the long run just pm or something) To make a very long story short, the storm cleared, and everything was still silent, so the Kaiser ordered the Imperial Guard to advance (You can see everything from the palace balcony), they ignored, he then foolishly said "I AM A LIVING GOD OB-" Then a dark humanoid figure acceded from the sky, roasted Vultblooop XI, then killed him. She them turned to the crowd, looking in awe in this point, and said "Emperors of your nation are not gods, but mere outlets for our divine justice. ect." And that, little children, is why Emperors are not gods in Umardoloth."
Blah... Blah... I guess I should get to actual "cool" stuff now. I have always been a fan of using large ships, rather than a bunch of little ones. It has always been more appealing, and epic rather than a bunch of fighters doing loops and boring stuff like that (by boring I mean that it just gets very linear after a while of it). I am the same way about naval combat as well, fighters kinda just "ruin" naval combat for me and a lot of the other naval enthusiasts I meet. It's not as... Honorable I guess, there is something about just seeing fleets fly their banners proudly while firing huge guns at one another, without the stress of worrying about a carrier, or airplanes. I am just rambling now, so let me just explain what the Umardolothian Imperial Interstellar Navy is. As I said earlier, I like capital ships more than just fighters, although we have them, they are mainly interceptors for fighting bombers (Fighters don't do much against capital ships, lol). They where, however, designed for dogfights against fighters as well. I have tested them out in a fleet battle in Space Engineers once, and they did... Ok at the very least, although I think the Flak from our Destroyers did most of the work. Capital ships are all required to have 5 heavy flak, and 15 light flak (heavy flak is a 2 cm auto cannon, light flak is a 50 cal. Hexa-barreled cannon). The Main guns on Capital ships vary from the class, but Cruisers have erhm... Umm... Well then, I generally haven't thought of armament until now, lol... Let's see, I will just use the weapons I have on Istrolid. Light Cruisers have 4 Plasma Cannons (I will design the shells later, but I will probably find out that there is no metal that can contain plasma, lol). Heavy cruisers have basically the same load out... Damn, ok, I really need to take my time and make these ships... I will do that later, I really just want to finish this...
Ground Troops: Umardolothian Ground Troops vary quite a bit, but as I said before, I am not really to this point in Umardoloth's time yet. BUT I do know that I will be carrying over a lot of the soldiers I use in my modern stages, such as the Death Soldiers (Skull Men), Imperial Shock Troopers, Moles, and Panzar Korps. So lets get right into the military i guess (don't you just love that forced meme?)
Umardolothian Tod Soldaten: these are basically just regular Shock Troopers in terms of Uniform, not much detail put into it as they are sent into horrible situations. But their gasmasks have detailed skulls painted on them, which really help with wars against tribal peoples who fear demons and such. They are amazingly trained soldiers, they live in harsh conditions, and are trained in all part of Nervusius as childs to adults. Wars Fought in since the "Growth": Boil Wars and the Wavalanca War Battles fought in: "The Bloody Peninsula"(Boil Wars), Battle of Konith (Boil Wars), The Crosses (Boil Wars), Jakkalanka (Wavalanca Wars), and Torrinth (Wavalanca War) Imperial Shock Troopers: Basically just Tod Soldaten but with less training, and less intimidation. They are not called "Umardolothian Shock Troopers" because they take in all races, from all colonies, not just the Fatherland. They are still better than Moles, or the Volksturm, but equal to that of the standard infantryman. They are trained to get up close to the enemy, shooting their Trench-guns, assault rifles, railguns, and other weapons point-blank. They are experts at hand-to-hand combat, taking an extra year more to a standard infantryman in order to learn more techniques and to train with close ranged weapons.
Moles: Moles are literally just mole people that Umardolothian Scientists found underneath the Bantanian capital after they blew it up. It turns out, the Facist regime was being manipulated by them the whole time, after a series of bloody wars with them , they bent the knee to the kaiser and vowed loyalty. Umardoloth has made sure they would never be able to rise again by castrating males every so often to make sure the population will never go above a certain number. Moles specialize in subterranean combat, which helps on desert worlds where there are some insect or some other creepy s##t like that... ugh...
Panzar Korps: Tanks... Huge, Amazing, Tanks...
Umardolothian Group Troops would fair decently in space warfare, with huge capitalships and thousands of interceptors in each fleet (I am not saying IF we had that many, I am saying we have that many in each fleet). Proud warfare isn't meant to be swift like space warfare, Umardoloth will basically constrict planets until the forces there surrender. Umardoloth of course them tortures and kills prisoners for being weak, lol. All Umardolothian Soldiers are trained in the art of Trench Warfare, which is what we always use (unless its a bug planet.. *cringe*). If you don't know what Trench Warfare is... Get help, read a book, for the love of god learn one of the bloodiest wars in human history. I am really tired as I write this, and I am not using my laptop, so yeah... Forgive me if this makes literally no sense, and there are lots of typos. So far, this seems to be one of the only serious things here, which is sad. I will write another post explaining stuff in more detail.

Hi there, I am vult, and I am new here. I seen some videos on this on YouTube, and damn this looks like a really fun game, and a promising one at that! I would love to advertise this game and try to get it out there, and kinda see where this game goes to! So I haven't played the game, or read much on it yet, but I will be doing that for a bit... As I am currently downloading the game, and browsing this forum and the Revolutionary Games website... I don't really see how people can call this a "Spore 2" in my honest opinion, as for what I have seen so far doesn't remind me of it at all... The singular cell stage (or whatever it's called) seems more scientific in a way, but what do I know, lol, I haven't even played the game... But still, it doesn't seem like a spore copy yet, and from what I am reading at this moment, the devs (or dev.) plan on making almost everything customizable, where in spore you barely customize anything, really. Anyways, this seems like a really fun game (even for what you have at this very moment), and I am really looking forward to testing it out!
