NEW DEVBLOG
Thrive 0.3.2 is out, and as always it comes with an accompanying Devblog. TheCreator should take most of the credit, while StealthStyleL is responsible for some of the Devblog. Enjoy! Also enjoy this trailer:

I like how the microbe stage is mechanically as complex as Spore's cell stage now.
EDIT: I just noticed my cell leaves a blue haze in it's wake, I'm assuming it is CO2. It's kinda distracting. Wouldn't it be better if CO2 was only visible to players with chloroplasts equipped?
Just an idea though, I personally don't like the blue trail.

Only showing the compounds that the player can access or requires. I kinda like the blue haze though personally

The blue haze is the CO2 your cell is getting rid of, as you guessed. It should be edited to make the cell release it in smaller chunks more frequently, to create a thin line instead of period blobs. The haze should also be spawned outside the cell instead of under it.

I hope/think thrive is reaching that point where people are committed to helping finish/work on it, hopefully I think it reached that point a while ago, otherwise I wouldn't still be here, and neither most or maybe even all of us old-timers.

Yeah, Thrive has gone through a lot of changes that should've killed it, and a lot of people will come and go still. But I feel since I found the new forum(I left the old forum a year or two before the migration), it's become a much more reasonable and managed community.

I hope so, here are some stat breakdowns from the site: 129,069 Views 51 Views Today 12,514 Downloads 5 Downloads Today (Stayed 5 after I downloaded it) However you can only download the 0.3.0 version from the site, but there is a Github link on the summary page to the full downloads page, so the Downloads Today might not be represented well.
