The Bear Trap keeps its grip, spikes embedded in the Nafelak and continuing to inject. However, it has no defense against its target's compatriots, and as such gets bitten and tears. Some of its toxins and enzymes seep into its meat while the rest goes through its spikes. However, with no signal to relax, these will remain embedded until specifically removed or shaken off.

The female Tyranite drags the still squirming Rautiza towards its mouth plates and crushes it. Meanwhile, Scarface tries to stop his prey from squirming by wacking it against the reef. Several Purpleweed shoots are eaten by the Nafelak but they are small and dispersed so a large percentage survive the arrival of this new creature. The survivors have all now found trees to leech off; the number is relatively small considering the complications and affects about 15 trees. The Purpleweed spreads quickly. In the mangroves, the Hamalus safely reached the shore of the island spent most of the day foraging the fruits to be found there. He then prepared to return to the main shore, and slowly eyed the water. Then, he jumped in. Immortal_Dragon Narotiza TheGraveKnightNote: I don't mind people creating lots of creatures, but when it's all at the same time it gets overwhelming and confusing.

The Rautiza dies to the female Tyranite just as her previous targets did. Meanwhile the one in Scarface's grip gets utterly smashed and tears in half, releasing dark blood into the water and making the meat inside more readily available.

The Gravorian had waited all day for this moment, now was the time. With a flick of it's huge tail the Gravorian launches itself at the Hamalus, it's jaws scoring a strong bite on the lower abdomen! This was not with a price though, for the Hamalus' kick injured one of the Gravorian's eyes. Now the Gravorian could only hope that the bite was enough. StealthStyleL

The female Tyranite eats the dead Rautiza, and has had her full. She moves to the more comfortable open water. Still in the reef, Scarface eats the Rautiza meat and let's the armour fall to the bottom. He continues his search for food amongst the reef. The rotund belly of the Hamalus is hard for the teeth of the Gravorian to get a purchase into. They slide off creating a nasty gash, which causes a cloud of blood to form. The Hamalus cries then powers stronger across the water, hoping that if the Gravorian comes back one of its feet will hit it. In the forest, the Purpleweed shoots begin to bury into their hosts, trying to locate their phloem and xylem. Immortal_Dragon TheGraveKnight Note: I'm probably going to have a break from the Tyranites for a bit.

Also in the forest, new blankets of Noofuzz are starting to grow along the ground that had been seeded and there is sunlight. They cover up the Bear Trap spores that came with them, but that doesn't matter to the latter as their roots are more important for nutrients at this moment. They are incapable of stopping nor competing with the Purpleweed.

The Nuitmere senses that the light levels are dropping and awakens. It uses it's claws to carefully climb down one of the trees. It let's out a loud chirp that echos through the forest. It picks up something unusual in the distance and begins making its way towards it. namoon

The Waywardian pair is incapable of taking notice of the day/night cycle, so they are simply continuing about their way. Waywardians have a short life cycle, and these two are only about a week or so from dying of old age.
Their more advanced offspring are beginning to develop and scatter about the reef.

Note: By the way, the Batis aren't nocturnal, unlike real bats. The Batis hung upside-down on their fallen tree, which they dug out and set up their colony in. One of the sentrys saw a shadow move in the distance, but shook it off as a trick of the light. The deceiver continues on it's path, unaware of the weeping sting. Atrox Aquos

Now desperate, the Gravorian aims for the Hamalus' neck. This may kill the Hamalus, or it could kill the Gravorian. But the fear of death evaporated in the Gravorian's mind, there was only the hope of finally having a meal...
(I should`ve clarified this in the description of them, but Gravorians have a fairly high metabolism).

The Nuitmere continues forwards and detects something along the ground. It approaches slowly, giving off soft chirps. Its feelers pick up the scent of flesh. namoon

The batis sentry gets an uneasy feeling, but still doesn't notice the nuitmere. Atrox

( namoon, the chirps are audible, so usually anything with ears will hear a nuitmere before it sees it.) The nuitmere approaces the batis sentry and begins gently touching it with its feelers.

(Oh. Well the sentry was half asleep, so it wasn't paying too much attention.)
The batis sentry felt feelers touching it. Shocked, it screamed and bit the feelers as hard as it could.

The Arnacathrix smells the Toxic Calo approaching, it turns towards it and lets out a loud roar, spreading its arms wide apart as bioluminescence lights up along the edges of its chest plates and the roof of its mouth. They light up a bright blue as it continues to roar and the behemoth stomps its feet and lashes its armored tail around while slowly waving its arms up and down. The rest of the herd hears the commotion and starts to investigate.
namoon The wandering Dublends start to attract the attention of one of the herds of Arnacathrix that formed out of the individuals that were contained in the pods. A young female, not quite fully grown, approaches the sound, split jaw open slightly to bare her rake-like teeth, ready to warn off any potential threat. Another, adolescent female watches her investigate with some curiosity, but keeping an eye out for threats as the rest of the herd senses that some of their members have stopped and thus come to a halt.

The Nuitmere releases an extremely loud and high pitched chirp after having its highly sensitive feelers bitten. It rears up on its tail and gives two swift slashes in the sentry's direction. namoon

The Morgullistrandranax has been stomping around the plateaus and plains with little to know harassment, however with little to no larger food their numbers are beginning to dwindle.
Someone please make a large herbivore for the southern plateau

(13/15 Late Evening) The wandering Dublends start to attract the attention of one of the herds of Arnacathrix that formed out of the individuals that were contained in the pods.
The nearby Dublends' back-heads look at the approaching Arnacathrix. Those nearest are able to convince their blind counterparts to avoid the unrecognized (and potentially predatory) creatures, while the rest take to cautious grazing. Alright, time idea. Maybe the top of posts could have a crude estimate of the current time of day? There could be a twelve-part day (early, middle, and late morning, noon, evening, and night), each with X number of posts until transition to the next. 15 as an example. What should the posts-to-transition be?

The young female Arnacathrix stares curiously at the strange creatures. Though seeing them graze lowers the amount of threat she feels from them somewhat, the approach of the adolescent female startles her a bit, though she settles into calm once her comrade has joined her in observation. She approaches one and crouches down, tilting her head to the side as she tries to get a closer look at the Dublend closest to her.
Note: That sounds like a good idea, maybe every 4-5 posts advances the time?
