As long as you can still develop sentience you can enter the next stage . There could be some practical difficulties like that you're not able to build houses or something like that but everything is possible in thrive if I remember right (except underwater civilisations )
Also, due to your large size and your advanced brain, your species will be a massive energy drain, causing slow population growth. Plus houses will have to be big, because of your large size. But a small species may fare better, a la rabbits, albeit it would have trouble using tools with little muscle. As such, humans are practically the ideal size for a sapient being. We could use a few extra limbs here and there, but nonetheless, the middle size is good for sapience.

Because if i am able to make a giant species to be able to go to the next stage then i would make a creature similar to Deviljho (A creature from the game Monster Hunter if you havnt played it before or heard of the game)
TheGraveKnight: Mostly the Mario and Luigi games. I could never beat Bowser's Inside Story because I can't mash Y fast enough to swallow something that is necessary to swallow to beat the boss.

Atrox: what i do is i simultaneously pull apart my thumb and fingers and press them back together at the same time. Instead of just moving your thumb away move both of them apart it brings them apart quicker and pushing them both together in unison brings them

TheGraveKnight: If anyone else here plays SMITE, do you think I should get back into it? I've always had a hard time playing MOBAs by myself and alot of the stuff in the game require the micro-transaction currency. But I remember having alot of fun with it.
