Lets say i made a creature the size of a T-rex would it be able to go to the next stage? or would i be stuck in Aware Stage?

As long as you can still develop sentience you can enter the next stage . There could be some practical difficulties like that you're not able to build houses or something like that but everything is possible in thrive if I remember right (except underwater civilisations )

Also, due to your large size and your advanced brain, your species will be a massive energy drain, causing slow population growth. Plus houses will have to be big, because of your large size. But a small species may fare better, a la rabbits, albeit it would have trouble using tools with little muscle. As such, humans are practically the ideal size for a sapient being. We could use a few extra limbs here and there, but nonetheless, the middle size is good for sapience.

Because if i am able to make a giant species to be able to go to the next stage then i would make a creature similar to Deviljho (A creature from the game Monster Hunter if you havnt played it before or heard of the game)
