I've downloaded the most recent version of thrive (first time playing) and after i die and respawn my movement speed is significantly reduced, and it keeps reducing until i can barely move.
after some testing it seems to happen only after I've evolved. what happens is i die and when i respawn i respawn in the middle of a bunch of cells, with mi cytoplasm flashing red, then i just keep dying. cant get out of the group of cells and i keep dying until i cant move anymore.

Can you tell us what your ATP levels are at when you respawn? The issue may be that you aren't producing ATP for some reason

There is a feature to enable engulfing mode, this allows you to eat other cells. The "G" key toggles between this mode.
Can you check to see if it's putting you in this mode, see if the g key fixes it. When in engulfing mode it reduces your spend and uses more energy (atp).
