Hi! It's been a while. Trying to keep up with everything, but sadly I don't have as much time as I used to.
How's the outreach going?
Love all the fluid dynamics! Really impressive work by the coders. The realistic drag mentioned in the devblog, along with compound clouds, would really make a genuine underwater feel.
The UI design by Oliver also looks great! The simpler design could scale a bit better than the current one. I'll miss the shards, but maybe we could still reuse it somewhere (in a later stage?).
Sounds like the AI could use some work. If it could make basic judgements, based on the composition of the cell and its target, we could see more kinds of NPC cells. It sounds like we're currently hard-coding interactions, which gets exponentially more complicated with more cell types. Vouching for this to be a focus of a future update!
