Well the peope are sick, but we have a chance to learn something here! Just immagine the power our nation could have if we fine foreighners and then invest it into research! We could develpoe a cure for the red death, sell it and be the most powerfull of all nations when we create a bioweapon from the plague!
As it says in theh holy scriptures of the goat: "And thou shalst gain mastery over all that is to spread The Goatyness throughout creation, from one end to the other." So shall we do! We shall make other natins tremble before us! Tremble before The Goat!

The Senate has voted to raise tariffs on foreign goods and immigrants. The expenses will go towards funding our growing medicine program to hopefully discover a cure for the Red Death.

The Red Death has not been cured, but it has been discovered it cannot infect those living in warmer climates. A vast migration towards the tropics has lead to a massive shift in demographics. Those who cannot afford to travel or simply too weak will succumb to the plague. Our nation, while under hardship, is saved.

Hmm time will have to see. Hopefully Crusader God, will send us goat to help us destroy evil red. And then we make shoes for goat as thank you. Anyways i think we should become a principality, are we really gonna let a 2-year old kid rule our empire, really ? EDIT : Oh i misundertood revoke the crown means that we'll get our own parliament; I'm stupid  . Still however i think we should vote to become a principality, look at what happened to the French after they tried to become a democracy in an age of monarchies... |

Let the people vote! But will that mean we can no longer play? A parliament elected by the commoners and the senate elected by nobility. The nobility's vote will only constitute 50% of the vote, so you lose political influence. But if you choose principality you will not be allowed to declare war, etc without the consent of the King. |

This must be our most divisive issue to date.
Personally I do not see the problem with becoming a principality. The heir is to young and the people to divided to be adequate leaders in my humble opinion

By a slim victory the Senate favors revoking the crown, establishing a Republican form of government. From now on the legislative branch of government will be composed of the Senate, elected by the nobility, and the Parliament, elected by the commoners. The Senate and Parliament will elect a Chairman to rule our nation, the successor to the previous imperial dynasties.
Of course no decision is not without its flaws. The Senate has sacrificed its authority for security, sharing power with the Parliament, who may or may not agree on national decisions. The Senate will have to make compromises with their counterparts and gerrymander elections to ensure their survival.
Foreign nations tremble at the prospect of our revolution, however, to seal our nation, the heir to throne must be terminated. The infant prince was missing from his crib, abducted by royalist rebels to rule his nation in exile. Until Galangat IV revokes his ties to the throne or is beheaded, our government will be considered illegitimate by the international community, and accused of being a rogue, or terrorist, state.
