Hello all.
So I've been playing Thrive 0.2.4 a bit, and I've noticed a couple of problems with the GUI in the game. So, I decided to try and fix it, and see what you guys think.
These changes mostly improve visibility and gameplay.

Changes/Notes:
I'm not really sure about the last one. I added it because when the player clicks an on-screen button, the cell would always turn and look in its direction, which kind of bothered me.

Changes/Notes:
The Editor GUI would also have some of these changes, such as having a pause menu, the name box being in the bottom right, etc.
What do you think? Devs, would you consider adding these changes to the game?

Changes/Notes:
- Button in bottom left corner pauses the game (see GUI Image 3) when clicked, or when ESC is pressed.
- Editor button is in bottom left corner.
- The Editor button is grayed out because the player's cell has not yet split.
- Oxygen, CO2, Glucose and Ammonia now have small icons next to them, and ATP is bolded.
- The health and name of the player's microbe is above the list of compounds.
- The cell no longer points towards the cursor.
I'm not really sure about the last one. I added it because when the player clicks an on-screen button, the cell would always turn and look in its direction, which kind of bothered me.

- Contains most of the options that were previously next to the button in the bottom left corner: Save Game, Options, Help, Main Menu, Quit.
- The Thrive logo is somewhere on this screen
- Everything but the buttons themselves are darkened.
The Editor GUI would also have some of these changes, such as having a pause menu, the name box being in the bottom right, etc.
