Tribe Barathi Maris
Unite the Faith: 5 (success)
Further Swamp Exploration: 6 (success with a bonus)
The Barathi Maris have cemented their beliefs fully now and have formed a universally accepted idea of their faith. Swamp Moaners have been heightened to a new level of respect from your people, they're cared for and maintained with a reinvigorated sense of love and care, any injuries they develop are studied and remedies are attempted to heal them with some successes. Your people have never been closer together and have unified with the Faith of Maris.
Your people take time away from fishing for their stockpiles and turn to exploring the swamp in greater detail. They've discovered a new predator to the far northern edge, they're described as aquatic lizards, far larger than the common ones found in the central settled swampland, they are highly aggressive and prey on a smaller, though faster moving variant of the swamp moaners, however this subspecies seems to feed more upon the underwater plants than local wildlife, it keeps most of its body submerged. To the south the swamp lessens and lessens until meeting a river, which afterwards turned into rolling plains, as far as your people move more Easterly they keep finding more and more swamp, that keeps thickening, pillars of black stone seemingly crafted are found here and there within the deeper regions of the East, with entire archways still intact, no signs of an invasion force. Some way across deeper water is needed for further exploration.

Mud bricks have been invented! Your people learn that by collecting lumps of multiple materials such as grasses, mealed bones and earth, that they can create sturdy sun hardened building materials. The old tribal huts are slowly being replaced and even basic mud brick ovens are popping up (though only bricks made of certain soil survive the flame before collapsing. Your people now have a more powerful structure to hide behind if predators or worse arrive.

Your people have experienced a moment of architectural enlightenment, by mixing two methods of construction they've managed to construct larger homes centred around the larger trees of the forest and with minimal affect to the local flora. By entwining twigs and smaller fallen branches to form a weave or wattle, these are then positioned into frameworks at the base of the tree. Then your people discovered a form of daub, by mixing earth, pine needles, bones, berries and sap they've created a sticky paste that when layered onto the framework, hardens quickly after half a day of sunlight. Logs coated in the daub are used as support pillars as your people set their eyes on expanding up into the canopy.
Being busy creating the new homes your people have not yearned for the simpler things in life, simply just working, sleeping and the occasional prank, because of this your people have suffered culturally and the religious thoughts on their minds suppressed for another day, this has weakened their bond as a community, especially as populations increase.

Build a Wall: 5 (Success)
Your people unite as a workforce strong, they gather nearby fallen branches in a great attempt to build a sizeable wall around the main encampment, they succeeded, building a large ring of branches, vertically stood upwards. This task took long to accomplish, though at little cost, your people donāt entirely feel safe though. The wall is strong enough to keep small predators at bay, but even some of the larger children are capable

Your people have learnt the way of the Galli, feeding them local game and even the occasional fish from local streams you've gained their trust. They do not produce any useful materials, no milk or wool, but they are fast and with a useful reserve of stamina. Your people fashion basic rudimentary saddles to make attempts of riding them comfortable. Some have achieved success and are teaching the others how to ride. Your people now have the capability of travelling long distances much quicker than any other known civilisation.
Alongside this, in an attempt to store more food for both your mounts and people you've developed a form of food preservation, smoked meat is now becoming a staple for your people and there are no signs of food becoming sparse anytime soon. You feed your new mounts with excess and keep a decent supply for your own people too.

Farm the Nuts: 3 (Limited success)
Shard Usage: 4 (success)
In an attempt to farm the nuts your people go through a similar process to the one their ancestors took years ago. Trying different methods of germination until finally one was discovered. By peeling off the outer layer of an extra ripened nut and then planting it, they've found a method of growing the nut plant. Many of your tribesmen have taken up this new method of life and are taking to it nicely, though it may take a while before results come in fully. Your people still have to forage to gain most of their food but are moving away from this.
A large collection of shards were taken from the caves and brought down into the settlement, first attempts at utilising it proved interesting, as many just instantly fashioned weaponry and tools out of the shards themselves. However a select few carried on experimenting, they flaked parts off, ground small pieces into dust, studied the larger veins in the caves and even softened it over a fire. With the correct shaped rocks as a cauldron of sorts they managed to melt down the shards and pour the resulting green metal into patterns created from impressions in the dirt. It's rudimentary but a start. Basic jewellery and some blunt tools are being made by this process while sharp hard spearheads and knives are made from the shards directly.

Scouting: 6 (Success with Bonus)
Your people, like many others throughout the landmass have developed a new way of building their homes. By mixing only grasses and local mud (of a greyish constituency) they have managed to form hard, solid bricks, capable of holding back all local fauna and a rowdy tribesman. Said bricks are even so hard that they can be made into stacks and fires can be kept within them without deformation. In fact, this seems to harden them.
Various brave souls from the tribe have decided to take it upon themselves to explore around the lands. To the west they found something quite breathtaking, gravel beaches fit with roaring waves and some sheer cliffs, wildlife bustles in the sky and strange creatures dart in and out of the water within this bay. While to the east communications with another tribe have begun and your people have come in contact with the Artrok people. To the south the landmass continues and the coast follows it, they speak of lands similar to the current, but cooler with strange beasts. Finally to the North, men riding strange creatures have been sighted, but the scouts were too terrified to approach formerly, instead fleeing.
