RulesCouple of rules that ive decided on to start out
- 1 action per turn (quite lenient on duration of action as i'm figuring a day/night cycle = approx 10 turns - if ridiculous long next post will refer to you in the process of doing that thing and your current progress)
- Character can chat to others close enough as much as they like it does not count as an action
- Characters can trade items as much as they like to other player characters it does not count as an action (NPC trades count as an action)
- all other things count as an action
- food/water/alertness drop 1 point per 2 turns unless undergoing activity that changes rate (you'll see your max when you get your character)
- to trade put in bold up the top corner GIVE and tell me the item and who you give it to so i can keep track of equipment and stop arguments over whether you were talking about a trade or actually doing it. If you were first to post give you are then at their mercy as to whether they will honor the trade or not so think about if you trust that filthy pirate
- to preform an action put in bold up the top corner ACTION and tell me the action, that way i can quickly sift through to important posts where you are doing something instead of discussing doing something.
- Your Action post should be in a spoiler segment while you are alone, if its clear that you have been noticed by another player such as this first or players such as this first scene post without the spoiler segment (In situations where it is unclear or your not sure post with a spoiler and ill relay information to any player that can see you)
- By posting earlier you gain +1 speed to rolls against any player posting after you, however they now can react knowing your action
- please do not look at other characters spoilers as equipment you carry can be used in surprise actions and/or this could be ruinous for players using stealth.
- please be as sure as possible before using an Action or Give requests and try not to edit them - especially after another character has posted as you cant be sure how your action might affect their action
SITUATION; Monday sunriseAwakening on the beach you look around to get your bearings. From the sunrise you know you are on a beach on the northern outskirts of the island. Not far to the south is a treeline of a dense forest and beyond that in the distance you see a smoking volcano directly south and a notably large tree standing well above the others in the south west. along the beach itself is planks of broken wood from your ship that has been carried with you by the current and 7 other survivors. Should you decide to make a break for the trees you would have the choice of heading straight south or angling off south-west or south-east, you might also consider moving west or east along the beach
