I wasn`t sure where to post this so I just put it here. Everytime I try to start up Thrive (after extracting it), Norton removes 50% of the files and I don`t know if there's a way to prevent this so I can play the test release. Any idea what to do?

Norton is like a paranoid soccer mom sometimes.
Your best bet is to look for something like "ignore" or "Exceptions" tabs in the settings.

I just restored all the files and then it let me play (although it wound up crashing after a few minutes ) Also one thing, maybe it's cause I`m kinda new to the forums, but why is the nucleus a disco ball?

We made a disco themed April Fools release which replaced the nucleus with a disco ball, and um...forgot to put it back to normal. Blame TheCreator. It should be fixed in the proper 0.3.2 release.

Just kidding. Someone should have noticed beforehand really.

The reason it's still there is because we don't really have any other nucleus sprite.I'll try to find something free on the web. If I can't I guess I can just photograph an onion cell nucleus. Speaking of which, we can totally do a DNA condensing and going through prophase animation.
