Actually yeah. Stupid Gluttons got me. My health seemed to drain away much faster than before, was that intentional?

viva la sonic mode
Besides this, I noticed that the second panel in the tutorial was off center, and the help panel in the editor was too small. You now need to scroll to see the entire compounds menu, I assume this is unintentional? Nucleus texture stays white after taking damaged.

Well on the plus side, now we're ensured survival because we shoot off in the other direction as soon as we touch another microbe!

My nucleus turned white also... but then after dying, my nucleus had the normal texture but the nucleus of other cells became white

Yeah, it appears that engulfment somehow breaks the physics engine.

Two things I noticed:
1. Since compounds don't use little particles any more, shooting out waste doesn't seem to happen (leading to CO2 buildup).
2. Trying to engulf a Toxin Predator but not killing them causes the game to become this:
It gets a bit hard to get them out of rendering distance so they despawn. I don't recommend doing this to more than one of them.

Oh I forgot to mention that the cloud in the tutorial still chases the player

Music gives it a nice touch.

Music gives it a nice touch. Alright cool we've got bumble bee mode in the game, now it's time to bring back those hexagons. We'll have hive cells. Get it...because the cells in a beehive are hexagons?

Could someone please take a nice screenshot of the new version. It's for the Devblog. I think it would kill my dying laptop if I tried to download the game.

StealthStyleL Here you go: You might have to embed the image via this URL in the Devblog, since I initially tried uploading it to the website's media library but kept getting an error. EDIT: I added it for you anyway. Speaking of errors, I encountered a bug in the new version where the editor in the tutorial had no organelle buttons until I scrolled.

Here's another error: Pressing escape sometimes makes the bottom-left menu do the "closed -> open" animation even though the menu is already open.

Awesome game.
Something to note; In this version i don't think absorbing other cells gives you any material (that i could notice anyway) and i thought it had been in previous versions, or at least they spewed out a few base chems when they died

I think... Maybe does have clouds? I dunno.
