I think they should be stage specific. Here are a few for the current stage:
Toxicity: kill a microbe with toxins.
Gluten: Kill a macro by devouring it.
Mutation: place your first mutation
So on and so forth. You can also have some for going against the game such as:
Friendly: Complete the microbe stage without harming another microbe.
Simple: complete the microbe stage without using any mutation points.
A good achievementioned list is the minecraft one, as a lot of them follow through the game and serve as a guide on what to do next.

Better you than me: Be right next to a peer when they are caught by a predator.
(On a side note, I feel like hiding from a predator could be worthy of its own theme, maybe a low-key version of the combat theme (with suspenseful elements mixed in, like the theme in Slender when you have 7 pages... Or "Slog Tension" in Abe's Oddysee, when there's a dangerous animal prowling around.))
