Hey so I was digging around on some of Thrive's old promotional stuff and I found that podcast from a few years ago. I think it'd be pretty nifty if the Devs brought them back. A bit of gameplay with some developer commentary explaining a bit about the game and stuff? Whadaya guys think?

Sounds cool, I think a good format would be how space engineers is done. Just make sure whoever does it has a half decent mic instead of some garbage built in one that sounds like crinkling paper. A pop filter for the mic might be nice too.
Once we get to about the start of the multicellular stage we could just have a voice over of gameplay with occasional footage of what the team is working on.
*cough *cough just contact me *cough *cough I can record *cough *cough
Edit: I have also seen some of those podcasts, personally they seemed a bit boring. The person narrating the podcasts often seemed a bit bored and tired of outreach. If you want to try to reach out to people, try to act excited and somewhat inspirational.

I think the podcasts were a good idea but we went about them in the wrong way. Most of our parts were scripted, and we didn't really have anyone interacting as such, just taking turns speaking their part. I for one would love to do another, but it depends on everyone having overlapping free time for an hour or so, which understandably doesn't happen often.

I saw those too. I didn't listen to much of them, but I probably would listen to new ones that come out. Especially if they are like a livestream where users could ask questions and have them answered live.
