Hello. We aren't all awesome artists who can make beautiful things in blender, or draw amazing things with pen and paper. But everyone can make a spore creation! I've created this thread so that those of us who aren't really artsy can still show off creative ideas we have for thrive. In order for one to post a Spore Creation on this forum, you have to at least give some backstory to your creation. I'll go first-
Here is the Alien Gallimimus. This animal is an omnivore(just like it's dinosaurian namesake). It's built for speed it is a hexapod, even though the two back feet are the most prominent. The other 4 limbs are the feather-like arms in the front, which are almost purely vestigial. The red plumage on her tail is usually for attracting males(which are much smaller, and are less saturated(the red parts are gray on males)). The Alien Gallimimus has a radial mouth, just like most other creatures on it's planet. It's also around the size of an turkey(much smaller than a Gallimimus), however fauna on it's planet vary in size, similar to Earth. Not every post has to be about a creature, it could simply be asking someone about their creation or giving advice on making creations.

Here's mine! Planet Slohb:
Tireeie: This is a Tireeie. Based off of this drawing I made. The Tireeie are a race of aquatic, tribal aliens that inhabit the planet Slohb. I think I have their culture written down somewhere, not sure if I can find it though. Areeir: The Areeir is a large predator from, again, planet Slohb. It hunts in thick forests of yellow, kelp-like plants, using its camouflage to become invisible to prey. Heeirigo: The Heeirigo from Slohb is an omnivore capable of traveling at very fast speeds. They have been domesticated by the Tireeie and are used for faster transportation. Here's a Heeirigo wearing a sort of saddle:

welp here gose nothing there two mouths allow it to restrain prey and its flaggela allow it to move while its gilla let it come to shore to feed on dead caracusses they usily swim with there stubby tail but when they need speed they use there jets for short range boosts using there fins to steer .there tube like mouth allow it to suck up tiny organisms these animals kill with there spear like tails while there toung is used to ind prey there small animals use there tail to make a hole in larger animals to suck there blood like a bed bug.they use there biloumnisent bulbs to attract mates

This species is based off of the creature from user Poisson's dream. "One night, I had a dream about Thrive. I was a shark-like creature swimming in a swamp, looking for a mate. The dream cuts to a scene like an abandoned city. My shark creature is different now, more streamlined.
Then I come across this ugly... Thing. A nauseating neon green humanoid, with large eyes and lips and bulbous hands. I realize that this is a creature from Spore.
I realized that we can do this. If we focus on gameplay and realism, we can make something that people will love."
SporodeloidA species of omnivorous amphibians. Their emaciated frame does not bid much in the way of physical strength, and while fairly intelligent they are limited in thought and action. Their sickly green skin offers little protection from the elements, and must be kept moist, inhibiting land-based activity. Nonetheless, they once established a promising civilization that spread across the whole planet. However, it was unable to live up to its own goals, and fell to strife and heavy pollution. The icecaps melted into poisoned tides, while fighting for scarce resources created miles of cratered badlands. After a century of decline, a solar flare breaking through the crippled ozone layer finished the civilization off. The scattered remnants take refuge in the flooded ruins of their cities. There, they struggle daily with toxic brine, the blistering sun, and fierce predatory fishes lurking in the urban swamps. If they are unable to escape the maw of extinction, then their every accomplishment could very well be a fading echo in the void of time.

Brachioplex Brachioplexes live in the red mountains of northern Cehoth. They are omnivorous, mostly eating leaves, but also eating small animals when they need to gain fat in the winter. Being prey both to the largest flying predators and land-dwelling pack hunters, they have flexible ears to keep them aware of what's above and below them. Brachioplexes are mostly red in color, though some are brown, beige, or white. They have six long limbs. The back four are used for jumping great heights, while the front two are used for grasping. Their hands and feet secrete a sticky substance that helps them cling to sheer cliffs. They have fins on their arms and tail to help them maneuver while airborne. Like many omnivores on Cehoth, their two pairs of eyes - one on the front, one on the sides - operate indepentendly of each other.

Okay how do you guys take such large photos of your creatures?? Go into the Test Drive and change the background to the pitch black one, zoom in on your creature, then take a picture. (the pitch black background automatically displays as transparent in the screenshots)

The Disturbance "The idea of the creature here was to make something that looked like it had extremely keen senses, despite having no visible sense organs. I was going to put eyes at the end of the head stalks, but decided it didn't look right. The "face" is actually a huge eardrum, and the stalks harbor electromagnetic, chemical and infrared sense organs." - ~sciocont

The Kamosian Sandworm The Kamosian sandworm is a massive creature native to the deserts of the planet Kamose. The sandworm spends much of its time partially buried in the sand next to rocky outcrops. It keeps its camouflaged beak outside of the sand to pick up the scent of any travelers gone astray. Once it picks up the scent, the sandworm relentlessly dives through the sand to catch its prey.
