I have returned from the void to the Thrive community. I was an infrequent ideas gal back when there was some Jamaican guy in charge, or something. Or maybe it was just a Jamaican forum hosting site? Could be a different country, too, but that feels right. I saw the rise of stuff like Belgium and basically contributed nothing because I'm not that clever. Those were the days, back when I was like twelve or something. I have no sense of time.
I am WaapFu. I'm an art student. I like listening to a wide range of musical artists that are either unpopular or old person music. I like the weird stuff. I also like video games, go figure. Anything with procedural generation and/or character creators tend to rub me up the right way, but there are some games like Undertale and Tetris that are exceptions to the rule. I think I've made like one other introduction post in my life?
(just remembered it was evolutions! back in the day)
I lost my bookmark ages back for the Thrive website and so I gave up on checking it. I'm a patient person, but I have very little faith in other human beings, so I assumed this project would be given up on. Sometimes being wrong isn't a bad thing. Given that you folks have stuck to your guns for this long, I have great expectations for the future.

Welcome back! Nice to see fellow veterans! And a fellow Undertale fan, if I'm parsing that sentence correctly? The old forums were hosted by Jamaica Focus, though now that would be the old, old forums. The project's come quite a long way since then, but amazingly Thrive is still around, with more progress than ever! (I don't suppose you were summoned back by one of the mods? I've heard rumours they're running a necromancy project…)

The Uteen I don't think I ever contributed enough to be worth summoning, really. And yes, I am a fellow Undertale fan. I must say though that I have been keeping track of the devblogs for a while now, but only now decided to go back onto the forums. Thrive is a very, very different game in both concept and playable content to what it used to be. The GDD seems to be very well planned out so I probably won't be contributing many new ideas, but I might occasionally spout my opinion on other people's ideas. Constructively, of course.

If you listen close enough you can hear the mods chanting and the light dripping of blood (from bloodletting or sacrificing ofc). You turn to see an army of undead forum portraits and usernames, accompanied with a metric Belgium tonne of fan art... Seriously though, it's nice to see people return, I'm only a second gen vet (I think) but it's still nice. And if the mods have formed a pact with Lucifer to reanimate phantom users to let the cult grow, the more the messier-- I mean merrier. Haha, ha. Ha. Yeh...
