What is this, depressed, sulky wheat? He's barley holding on. He wants to know rye he should go on living, but he's convinced it's all just bread and circuses. It must be a grain condition.

I'n not sure if this counts but after some Google fun, I found out the scientific name for humans "Homo Sapiens" mean Wise Man. So by extension the group that falls under "Homo" all also have Man in part of their name. So how far back in the human timeline do you need to go for them to lose the Hominid part of their name?

TheGraveKnight you'd probably have to go back to our common ancestor with chimpanzees, since they are the closest living hominid relative with a different genus.

Ok I've actually known this for a good few years but I wanted to see if there was an explanation for it. I'm double-jointed, but only on the left side of my body (fingers, toes, shoulders you name) which causes them to crack and pop alot. Any idea why it would only be on one side of me?

Do you mean just if you move them, or if you actively crack them? Because if so, I have the exact same thing, but not on my left side, but at my feet and right-thumb-palm connection (don't know the official name. Can you keep me updated on the how and why of things?

Today I learned about female corn, and that female corn has flowers that look like lady hair.... And this is my 30th post. 1st one on page 11. I'm not sure if I should be disturbed by how... human it looks or just intrigued. If anything, they surely look way more interesting than the boring male corns. What is this, depressed, sulky wheat? No its a beautiful Tassel. Dangling in the wind spreading it's pollen across the world

TIL Thor from Norse mythology has a chariot pulled by goats It doesn't end there. He can kill those goats to eat them, and then he can revive them. As long as he still has the bones. When he takes those goats with him, he he as a comfy way of transportation and an unlimited food source (provided nobody steals or eats the goat bones).
