Could it be possible for your sapients to reintroduce animals and plants in regions where the population of these species have drastically diminished or disappeared due to too much hunting, the destruction of their habitat, diseases and so on?

I would imagine so. Assuming you can transport organisms, that should be a natural part of the gameplay.

Oh that would be cool! I would see other species evolving. I would definitely do that. I am sure they will add that feat.

This system could be also used to terraform alien worlds, by making good conditions for life, thnn either seeding the planet with cells or orgs. It could take millennia, but it would work.
