The language of Pikachu is a complex one. Yes, it is true there are only three syllables possible: Pi, ka and chu. However, you mathematicians will go, "Wait, that's only 6 possible combinations!" But not exactly, the order is also important - so using the permutations key on my calculator, for every one syllable word, there is 3 combinations - for every two syllable word, there are 6 combinations, and for every three syllable word there are 3 combinations.
However, a person can repeat syllables - and so there are many more combinations. But, there is more ways to communicate. Non-verbal communication is crucial to the language, jumping up while speaking, swaying from side to side or even being upside down means that there are infinite combinations and therefore, many words and sayings.
Here is a simple guide to some words:
Notes: ' means accent, so pika' is pronounced piKA. And ... means a fade, so pikachu... will be pronounced pika-choo (fading to silence). A combination means a long accented accent, so pika'... is piKAAAAAAAA. How many dots there are show how long the long sound will be. ^ means faster syllable saying. So pi^ka^ means saying pika faster than normal. Symbols are the same
